I got this for my 6 year old daughter who wanted to 'step up' to a 2-wheel scooter from her 3-wheel micro mini, which she was a pro at. She's had a really tough time getting use to this thing, and I think the biggest reason is that it just doesn't seem to coast nearly as well as her old one did. She's just constantly pushing and it having a hard time maintaining enough speed to coast on the sidewalk. I think the reason is primarily how much smaller the wheels on this are, which also get her caught pretty easily on uneven parts of the sidewalk. Plus, even though this folds, it's quite a bit heavier than her old scooter. She's unable to carry this down the stairs herself, so I have to fumble with that, her younger brother, and his scooter (i.e. her old one). Other than that it's fine. And it was pretty cheap. But I'm on the fence between 3 and 4 stars with it. I wouldn't buy it again, tbh. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The first one I ordered was on deal before Christmas. I was soo happy and excited for my girl to get it, until we discovered that it does not light up. I requested a replacement within my return window. We got it within two day and we're happy again. Untill discovered that it does not light up either.... My hubby had to disassemble it in full and check all the wires and connections. He discovered that when you put it together and put the screw in do hold bataries, piece of plastic dislodges the battery. He solved it with putting a ball made out of aluminum foil in one of batteries. Problem solved!!! My girl was on it zipping through the house and kitchen. That thing lights up bright - big time!!!! I am adding pics to see how it does light up and pointing where exactly we put the ball to keep electrical connection going. Good luck to you all! ... show more
