As advertised and delivered on time.
A cast iron stand would have been preferred. The steel bolt together stand does not seem as steady, though I have not used it much at this early point.

I decided no purchase the stand over building one. Very glad I did. The stand takes up little room, it is very stable, and was easy to assemble. The footprint of the stand is fairly small, I really doubt that a diy stand would be as compact. The price was a little higher than I would have expected, a
nd I could have saved a few bucks building a stand, but I have been totally satisfied.

I'm glad I purchased this for my Jet 12-21 lathe. It fits like a glove and looks great. I put wheels on the bottom and can easily move it around my garage. This was faster and more professional looking than what I would have put together. With the price of lumber today, it may be close value-wise in
the long run.

It may seem a bit expensive for a stand, but I'm glad went ahead and purchased it. Now I can have a dedicated area just for the lathe without taking up room on one of my workbenches. I recommend that you ensure the height is set the way you want it before bolting the lathe on. I had to change it once
. You will probably want to get help to place the lathe on top of the stand. It is very sturdy and I have had no issues with it moving when I'm turning wood.

This is an awesome stand. Simple to set up and fits my lathe perfectly. I gave 4 stars because i thought it should be able to sit a little lower.

Straight to the point review.
Easy to put together. Seems to be very sturdy. Other than the lathe being heavy, was easy to mount.

Well made and fits the lathe very well.
I am 5'10' tall and the only issue for me (and it is a minor one) is that the lathe sets a little higher than I would prefer with the mount set at it's lowest setting.

The base legs came with 3/8 nuts welded in place to screw in the leveling feet. All four were welded off center and the leveling pad bolts could not screw in. I had to use a drill press to open the holes through the frame and ret-tap the welded nuts. Also all four welded nuts were welded in crooked s
o that they are not flat on the floor. A simple task that should have taken minutes turned in to hours
