Very pleased with Jensen double DIN deck and install. Was after an inexpensive deck for Bluetooth music and hands-free phone. Other brand reviews were concerning so decided with name brand. PROS: Been 2 weeks and all is fine. 08 F250. Took longer to wire harnesses and tidy up with zip tie than the reminder of the install. Youtube has good dash removal vids. Install kits worked perfect and look factory. No gaps or out of place look. Bluetooth syncs fast. Microphone clear. Power reasonable for nice sound. My OEM speakers could use upgrade now. EQ function better than standard. Preset EQ not my style but they are there. CONS: Phone has un-sync’d a 2 times when truck off. Quick to pair though. Clock display a little dim. I wear glasses so probably just me. Anything major happens later I’ll add to this review. F250/350 owners don’t be afraid of this excellent under $50 upgrade. Defective! I purchased this car radio and it came on time. However, I paid to have the radio installed and within 10 minutes of driving while connected to the BT, my music just stopped playing. It still says I’m connected and that it’s on, it literally just doesn’t work! I Took it back to the electronic auto shop and it’s clear that everything was correctly installed on their part, the radio was just very cheap quality! I guess You get what you pay for huh?🙄 ... show more

Great value for the price!

Less than $40 for a double din radio! I was surprised that the Microphone for Bluetooth calling function is actually part of the radio panel, just under the display. I had thought I could plug my iPod into USB to play, but it doesn't work that way. It does play MP3's so I just got a 4gig Thumb Drive and loaded it up music. I have yet to connect my amplifier for subwoofer. It does play loud enough. I modified my Din and Half opening to accept this double din radio. Because of the depth of this unit, I didn't have to hack away any plastic framing like when you use a DVD/CD in unit stereo. I've done that before. This was way easier with all media stereo with no cd slot. I purchased this kit below to open up the dash. Not as bad as the negative reviews say

I had an aftermarket Pioneer radio in my car that was already installed when I purchased the vehicle. The radio had been discontinued in 2006, so none of the features that came with it worked except for the radio itself, which finally stopped working all together about a week ago. I was pretty hesitant to buy this based on the negative reviews and downgrading from Pioneer brand, but I figured for the price and Amazon's return policy, it really wouldn't hurt if I bought it and didn't like it. I'm really pleased with my purchase and this radio will be great for my upcoming cross-country road trip. The Bluetooth setup was really easy and connects to my phone as soon as I turn the car on, the radio has an AUX port, a USB port to charge your phone, and the volume can actually get REALLY loud on original speakers despite what other reviews stated. I'm happy with the blue color glow from the radio as it matches my car interior/exterior but for anyone looking to change the color- I don't think you can. ... show more
