    • Great, heavy duty, but just a 99% perfect fit
I thought this was to be a perfect fit for my 1991 YJ Sahara, but I guess there are so many model variations, all one can do is come close. Jack was extremely nice and tried to answer all of my questions. Problem - the fan shroud 1 - The original bolts for the fan shroud where larger diameter and a different thread and would not fit. Jack, from Staycoo informed me that 6mm bolts would work. I ordered a $7 pack of 100 m6x1px30mm fully threaded plain steel hex head bolts which worked perfectly (You only need 5 of them, 5 washers and one m6 nut. See below for the nut.). I used the washers under the bolt heads so they wouldn't grind into the plastic shroud when I tightened them. I wish this was mentioned on the item page to save me the aggravation! 2 - There was a cutout on the passenger side of the radiator, I guess, for AC lines, but exactly just where the lower bolt goes, so no place to attach it. I noticed there where 3 tabs on the cutout (on two sides and middle), so I took a piece of aluminum sheet metal and cut it to fit under the tabs. Had to take nose pliers and lift the tabs a bit and then gently tapped the piece I cut beneath them and then applied RTV sealant around the edges of the plate to keep it secure from vibration. Then I drilled a hole for the shroud bolt and used a nut to fasten it through the plate. Works fine. The other mounting holes, all around, are perfectly aligned, including the two for the power steering pump mounting and for the Jeep vent tube that mounts to the frame on the inside next to the driver's side of the radiator core. No leaks, cools very well. They do supply a real cool looking black spun metal radiator cap, but Jack said it is rated for 1.1 bar which is around 16psi. My Wrangler recommends a 13psi cap, so not to take any chances with blowing seals or freeze plugs, I bought a new 13psi cap and it works fine. BTW This radiator comes with the 1.1 bar radiator cap, two auto transmission nipples and a nice brass drain fitting pre-installed. The only thing is I had to swap the locations of the auto trans nipples because one is a smaller diameter than the other and it looked like they just located them in the wrong holes. ... show more

    • Get what you pay for
This at first looks to be a very well built radiator and would be a great upgrade from the stock single core. Looks can be deceiving, after installing the radiator I found more then one leak in the radiator(coming from the fins). There is no way this radiator passed a leak test. Very disappointed as I wanted to install a heavy duty radiator to be able to eliminate the need for an additional trans cooler. Unfortunately for me I needed to modify the mounting bracket to fit my Jeep making this not returnable. Now I will need to purchase another radiator to fix this issue. It would be worth spending a bit extra to get a good radiator that will not leak. ... show more

    • Just what I needed
Fits my 94 jeep yj perfect. No more overheat. My stock radiator even after flushing, cleaning and straightening fins could not keep the temp below 220+ if I turned on the a/c. If outside temp 100 I had to run the heater full hot to keep from the yellow band on temp gauge. Stock 3.55 gears, 33" tires and 21/2" lift just for info. ... show more

I installed this in a 1995 Jeep Wrangler with a 2.5 manual no AC. It bolted directly in place of the original. And the original fan shroud works as well. It was packaged very nice as well.

    • More Information Needed From Seller
They advertise direct fit but not so much for my 05 Jeep TJ Wrangler. You’ll have to obtain a different size snap in transmission line connectors as this radiator for me, didn’t fit my original ones. You’ll have to obtain different shroud bolts as the old ones don’t work with this radiator. I think this may be a good product but the seller should reveal some of these facts when selling. ... show more

Havn’t had it through summer yet but its been in for 250 miles and isn’t leaking. I wouldn’t buy it unless the oe is bad anyway. I used the new cap it came with and it works

Bought one on eBay and it leaked after 3 months. This one lasted 9 months. I decided to go back to OEM. It looked good but I gave up on all aluminum radiators.
