Great little stereo system. I have tried all functions (except Bluetooth), everything works as presented in the Amazon info. Am enjoying vinyl & CDs I forgot I even had. Bluetooth will be checked soon. Due to reviews by disappointed buyers, I did purchase the extra warranty from ASURION; hopefully, it won't be needed. Extra Comments: -- Volume is fine, for me. Unit is in my home office, never needed to turn it all the way up for listening enjoyment. -- Equalizer is a nice surprise, I missed that feature before buying unit. -- Love that the CDs can be 'randomized'. My existing 5 disk player has the same feature & have enjoyed that feature for many years. Yes,...the platter is a little noisy when rotating the CDs, but it's no more noisy than my Sony player when changing CDs -- All vinyl has played through the end of a record and stopped at the end as stated. Some buyers have stated the turntable doesn't play through to the end before it stops. That may be happening on extended play albums (i.e. live performances). Someone stated the length the album plays might be set at the factory, so all regular length might be fine. ... show more

It plays vinyl records in 3 speeds, CDs, and tapes. The sound is good. The instruction booklet is in very small, light print which made it hard for me to figure out. The booklet kept telling you to dust the unit often. The cover for the record player is open on all four sides instead of being a closed like our old unit. I don’t care for that feature at all. The picture of the unit does not show the cover as being open. If I had known this I probably would not have purchased it. The other features though are fine. ... show more

This is a fun throw back to my childhood/teenage years. I bought it for my 11 year old. He has had a blast playing records and recording mixed tapes. It actually sounds pretty good. There was damage to the box which went through and damaged the side of the unit causing the CD player not to work. The reseller said it wasn’t their problem because I had purchased 2 months earlier. I had bought at the end of October for a Christmas present so the damage wasn’t discovered until Christmas Eve. I called Jensen and they said they will replace if I send it in. Was excited for it to come in. Unboxed and everything looked great. Hooked it up, no problem. Started using it on the first day of receiving. Good sound although not very loud. But that was ok. After listening to cassettes for a few hours deck b ate a cassette. Untangled it, rewound it and put in deck a. Worked fine. Put back in deck b. ate it again. tried a different cassette in deck a worked fine. Put it in deck b ate it. Boxed it up and sent on ups truck. Still waiting for refund. ... show more

I'll tell you the goods first, I love the CD changer because it seems to play all kinds of disks, even scratched ones that wouldn't play on another CD player. I also love the record player, it plays records nicely. Now the bad parts, I'm disappointed with the bass in this stereo, it isn't much even with the extra bass button. What's worse, is this stereo eats tapes worse than the cookie monster eats cookies! Therefore, I can't play tapes on it which is a major bummer because I have a lot of tapes that I love to hear. When I received this stereo, it was beat to hell to say the least, so much so it was half-way hanging out of the box! Needless to say, I was DISGUSTED with the shipping! I would NOT recommend this stereo to anyone UNLESS you'd buy it straight from the store! I will NEVER buy another stereo system online again, I will get it straight from the store next time because UPS or whoever shipped this stereo obviously couldn't handle it! ... show more
