  • Great for beginner Streamers, Youtubers, and Recording artists
Bluetooth: When connected to Bluetooth, the sound quality is great! The muffs themselves don't grip your ear so while the sound quality is great, The muffs don’t grip your ear for Base effect or noise canceling. However, the volume can be increased which would help more with noise canceling but is not advised as that can damage your ears. The mic has insanely good quality for headphones. I tested the mic side by side 5 days in a row on my stream with my regular studio-grade mic and the quality is equally as good if not better than my studio-grade mic. For my setup, my studio mic is further away from my mouth so the quality dips slightly, but with the Jeecoo G80, the quality is perfect since the mic stays near your mouth the entire time. Bluetooth mode also comes with RGB on the designs on the muffs and reactive buttons for volume +/- and mute( which makes a noise when pressed). Bluetooth mode also has a 10M(33ft range) and can work with a wall or 2 in between the connection. It takes 2.5hrs for the battery to fully charge, but battery life lasts 11-12 hrs on a full charge, however, make sure you charge the headphones out of the box. Corded: The G80 does come with a corded function however the sound quality from the headphones isn't as excellent as the Bluetooth mode. The microphone is now on the cord and is great when near your mouth but usually rests on your chest not near your mouth so the mic quality will dip depending on where you place it. Overall: These headphones are an amazing pick for gamers, beginning streamers, and YouTubers and even for customer service headphones that need them. They are compatible with PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch OLED, and Nintendo Switch Lite with the cord connected, however, for Bluetooth, because the Bluetooth is connected to a USB dongle(see picture above) the Bluetooth portion needs to be plugged into your Monitor or TV to work for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch OLED, Bluetooth does NOT work with Nintendo Switch Lite. Included: The headphones come with a USB-C cable for charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack with a microphone, a detachable microphone as well as a protective cover for the detachable microphone, a Bluetooth dongle with a protective cap, and a user manual. For the price, These headphones are a great pick and I highly recommend these to anyone in the market in need of some headphones! ... show more

  • Good headset even if you're not a gamer. Good range, great sound quality, especially for the price.
I'll start with a confession. I'm not a gamer. I use my headphones for music and conferencing at work and at home, and I was interested in these headphones to have something to leave out on my desk at work, with a boom mic and wireless connectivity. It met those requirements, but for an interesting reason I'm now inclined to carry them with my laptop. The sound is good quality... the LST 3D Sound Demo, THX Surround Sound Demo, When It's Love, and One2Many show a pretty good result to your ears. The 7.1 surround proves itself with the 3D demo, and has good basic stereo separation as well. Good for a $50 headset, and not too much less than the QC35 (although this headset has noise-isolation, not noise-cancellation, although the boom mic does offer noise targeting). Using the headset on conference calls with fans running all around me (no air conditioning during a heat wave in a room with network equipment, argh) got good reviews from my colleagues. Good things about this headset: 1. It's paired to its proprietary wireless receiver, and if you plug the receiver in, it is instantly connected and overrides the previous sound settings. Unplug and you're back to normal. Great for switching between machines you usually have muted. 2. The boom mic is removable, and the headset still has a microphone if you're not using the boom. 3. It's lighter on the head than some of the noise-cancelling headsets I use, and not too much more cumbersome than the Bose QC35. 4. Charging is USB-C, not MicroUSB. Should be table-stakes but some vendors are running behind the curve. Not Jeecoo. 5. The range is pretty good. My home is a nightmare for bluetooth range and these have slightly better range than my QC35. At work I can get about 100 feet away with good audio quality. And the RGB lighting gets people's attention when I walk down the hall listening to the Wanamaker Organ performances. Things I wish were different: 1. The cap for the USB adapter and the cap for the boom mic port are removable and easily lost (see photo). I would have preferred a sliding cover on the boom port and a sliding USB connector on the adapter. You can put the boom port cap around the boom mic itself but that would look silly on video and it is annoying to have floating near your face. 2. The auto-timeout is inconvenient, although it saves battery and won't kick in if you're actively audio-ing. 3. You can't use the boom mic with the wired connection, from what I've seen. I rarely use wired connection on these although I might appreciate the option in some settings. 4. I don't see replacement earpads on Amazon. Since these will probably not be 8-hour-a-day devices it's not a bad thing, but I would like replacements to be available. In general, it's a good headset, great for the price ($50 after coupon as I write this, a bit more when I bought it in July), with good features and manageable shortcomings. ... show more
