  • You can stop scroll this might be the headset for you
The media could not be loaded. Jeecoo G80 is excellent headset for the price and it is worth checking out. Comfort and Build Quality: The headset is light and comfortable. The headset is made of a denser plastic material and can withstand a couple of drops. The headset does not have a lot of clamp force, so it is not super tight on your head. This can be a con because audio can leak out into your surroundings. The ear cups are well cushioned and soft which I found pleasing on my ear and since there is not a lot of clamping force your ears can breathe and wouldn’t get too hot during long gaming sessions. The mic is flexible and studying overall and can be removed easily as it is detachable. Sound and Mic: In terms of the microphone, I felt it did very well overall in terms of picking up my voice. There was a slight nasal effect to my voice, but overall, it was very clear. It also did a decent job and removing background noise. Sometimes when you see 7.1 on a headset it often messes with the sound quality overall of the headset but this headset did not mess too much with the sound. You can hear the audio slightly spacy or distanced but the sound was well balanced. It was not an overly bass-enhanced headset but this headset had a clean bass and I like that. The voices were very clear and listening to movies and music was a pleasant experience in my opinion. This is a plug-and-play headset so the audio is initially set without software or extra drivers. Wireless and Battery: The battery lasted me 10 hours with the RGB turned on which is impressive so you can probably squeeze out a longer gaming session with RGB turned off. The headset charges via USB-c which is a big plus since the battery will charge very fast. I did not have any wireless signal failure or static and I have a lot of wireless devices in my home so big plus. Hopefully, this was helpful ... show more

  • Sound Quality, Comfort, Microphone, Style
Sound Quality - Impressive audio from this headset. I've used this for a variety of things including gaming, listening to music, and even watching movies. Each experience was quality. The bass is satisfying while not being overwhelming - balanced very nicely. The 7.1 Surround Sound mode makes everything sound like 8D audio, amazing for music. The USB transmitter also allows for low latency which beats Bluetooth any day. Comfort - The ears have great padding which is very soft. It has a nice leather look to it. I could wear this headset for hours. Also has pretty decent sound cancelling, although not 100% cancelling. Microphone - Friends over game chat claimed that the microphone sounds great. No echo. The detachable feature is very convenient in case you're only wanting to listen to something. Style - One of my favorite features. The RGB on this headset shifts extremely smoothly and shines bright. The white and gray finish goes great with these colors. Overall, surprisingly quality headset for the price. If you're looking to buy a good wireless headset on a budget, you've found it. ... show more

  • Good headset for this price point.
For the most part, this is a decent headset that I recommend for the price. My PROS/CONS list detail out what I liked and didn't like. As a point of reference, I'm an avid MMO gamer who often has 6-12h gaming sessions with friends on weekends, plus daily gaming sessions that last for 1-2 hours on average. The headset came with everything shown in the photos attached - as well as an instruction booklet I failed to capture in the image. Oops. PROS: AUDIO QUALITY: Sound quality is pretty great. The highs are high. The lows are low. Voice comes through clearly and people I chatted with said I did not sound "tinny" or have any echo, so that seems good to me. I didn't use it to stream a symphonic orchestra or anything, but in-game music often IS symphonic, and it sounded pretty good. I have to admit the surround sound was pretty impressive to me. When playing games in an open-world environment, being able to tell the source of the sound was coming from behind me, off to the left or right, etc., was pretty good. Better than I've experienced in some more expensive headsets over the years. SETUP: Initial setup was pretty easy with this headset. Any issues/difficulties I had seem like they were based on the Playstation's OS/software. See the CONS section for feedback there - it's the only *real* negative from me on this headset. COMFORT: For the price, this is a pretty comfortable headset. It is reasonably lightweight and didn't feel like it was squeezing my skull like many others I've used. It's not the MOST comfortable either, however, but for the price, I can't really complain. I tend to want to take any headset off after 20-30 minutes, depending on what I'm playing, because my ears feel hot and this one was about the same. I'd say that while it isn't especially uncomfortable, it's also not so comfortable I'd likely want to wear it for 8-10 hours for marathon gaming sessions without taking a break either. Maybe that's a good thing. FEATURES: The microphone is detachable. I'm not sure exactly what bonus or benefit this offers aside from the ability to abruptly jerk it out of its socket to avoid others hearing sudden or unexpected sounds - the dog barking, the baby crying, the chainsaw your roommate just decided should be tested in the living room - whatever. But it detaches, so that's a thing. Again, audio sound quality for the mic seems decent based on feedback frim people I gamed with while using it. Another perk, depending on your taste, is that the LED lights on the headset are a shifting RGB. You won't see it yourself, of course, because you're wearing it, but anyone else in the room (or on video) can see it. Not a selling feature for me, personally, but a lot of people love that kinda "high tech" look and feel. CONS: The negatives to this headset are subjective, of course. Personally, I use a headset only when gaming. I tried this one with my PS5 but not with my laptop, so my experience reflects only that of a console gamer. Naturally, your mileage may vary. Initial setup was simple. I plugged in the USB adapter and then changed the audio input/output in the Playstation menu. No biggie. What I didn't like was that with this particular headset I had to do this every time I wanted to use it. With other headsets I've used, the Playstation was capable of auto-detecting the headset, then changing the audio input/output based on the menu settings. For example, if I was gaming with a buddy and we were chatting in-game, but then he logged off, with other headsets I have been able to turn off the headset's power and the Playstation will automatically revert to sound coming through the TV. If my buddy logged back on later and wanted to group-chat, I could flip the headset power on and we're back in chat with chat audio coming through the headset and my audio input going through the mic. This headset doesn't seem capable of doing that without going through the Sony menu and re-selecting the input/output devices. Unfortunately, I can't determine if this is an issue with the Playstation OS which will eventually get updated, or if it's a limitation on the headset itself. That being said, it isn't necessarily a big deal, so take it for what its worth. The other *potential* drawback with this headset is that the Bluetooth adapter must be plugged into the console so it can relay the signal. That's pretty standard and not unusual, so I'm not really faulting the headset for it, but unfortunately that means the single USB port on the front of the PS5 (which I typically use to charge the second controller) is constantly in use for the headset. My PS4 had two USB ports, so this would not have been a concern. However, with the PS5 this means when power dies on the controller I have to make the choice between using the headset or swapping to an already-charged controller - the controller I HOPEFULLY already charged before tying up the USB port for the headset. Planning ahead for this is key, so it's not a deal-breaker or the fault of the headset, necessarily. Just something to point out if you don't have a USB hub plugged in or an additional USB charging location handy. FINAL TAKE: In the end I do like the headset and recommend it for those looking for one at this price point. It's not the best one I've ever used, but it's also nowhere near the most expensive. For its price and its features, this headset is a pretty decent bang-for-your-buck option. Hope that helps anybody checking this one out and trying to decide yay/nay on the purchase. ... show more
