Easily read and color coded displat for FULL warning to current humidity. The manufacturer claims five year warranty which is longer that any duhumidifer previouly owner. A bit more expensive than some other brands but well worth the money

I’m in love with a dehumidifier

I did far too much research on dehumidifiers. I made a risk adjusted decision to purchase this. It’s paid off. The design, ease of use, effectiveness is frankly amazing. Got rid of the smell of our basement nearly instantly, is quiet, i love it so far. Really hope it has longevity (~3 months so far) Also has 3 ways to remove water and plan on eventually routing a house down our washing machine down pipe (but emptying design is brilliant). Cheers to an off brand appliance not being total garbage! Highly recommend (obviously). FYI live in a costal area and we get a lot of moisture

Finally one that checks all the buttons! The GE one I had finally stopped working, never was fond of it, too loud and too inconvenient to empty. So I got another newer GE from HD hoping it would be better...NOT, even louder and bucket was hard to remove. Ordered one from Amazon, lovely unit , but too small for my area....returned. Ordered a larger one from Amazon, nice looking, but never got to see how it worked! Kept it upright more than 24 hrs, but upon plugging in it, immediately came up with an error code and would do nothing, that also went back. These are not easy to return to UPS for me, too large and too heavy, so I had to get someone else to do it for me! But this gem is perfect, quite, attractive, functional and love that the water compartment is on top. Makes emptying SO much easier. It also has the pump feature, but I haven't needed it at this point. So far I run it only at night, and by morning it is no more than 1/2 full and humidity is 50/52%. I have a large basement apartment and this is working perfectly. Love the lights and the fact you can turn them off which I do over nite. So grateful I found a unit that is everything I need!

Humidity gone!!

This was genuinely a wonderful purchase. Was it pricey ? yes. However, it is the best dehumidifier we’ve ever had. It is quite enough that we have it in our living room. The only significant noise it makes is when the pump pumps the water up the waterline, but even that is nothing and only less for a few seconds occasionally. It has managed to keep our place, comfortable and dry here in humid Florida. I have never heard of this brand so you never know however it’s great. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for something that will solve your humidity problem and perform beautifully.

Amazing Products and Stellar Support!!

I initially got this humidifier to combat high humidity (65% RH) in between seasons, where my HVAC team has mentioned that in spring and fall, even when running your system 24/7 between 70-72F, it may not be sufficient to remove humidity. They recommended I get a dehumidifier for my space, which the space I was trying to reduce humidity in, is aprx 850 sq.ft. The first unit that I bought from Avylo did have some issues that I noticed nearly immediately. The main issue was that using their provided drain line at the appropriate drain location on the unit did not seem to be expelling water collected by the dehumidifier. I reached out to their customer support team via phone, where the representative was very kind and helpful, and provided me their email address to further troubleshoot the issue. Junniel and Katerina from Avylo's email support team responded immediately, was also very kind, and they went above and beyond to make things right! I provided them as much detail into the steps I tried prior to reaching out, such as ensuring that I was using the drain line no higher than the 15ft that it says the line can drain from (I was way under that amount, only raising the drain line approximately 4ft), and also reaffirmed that I connected the drain line to the correct drain spout on the unit. Afterwards, Katerina asked me a few more questions via email, and I tested and wrote back my findings, and Katerina determined the pump was broken. Katerina was so kind and so quick to send a new unit out, and I tested it for a whole weekend to make sure there were no issues with the new one before writing back to relay the outcome. Not only did it successfully expel water from the drain line, but apparently the new unit also was removing more humidity from the space. The previous unit could never get below the 40% threshold, to where the unit's color coded light would turn blue (below 40% relative humidity), and only ever had displayed the green light, indicating a range of 40% - 60% RH). So I realized that the previous unit not only had an issue with the pump to drain the water, but also it was not removing as much humidity from the space. I now consistently am able to get my space to a range of 38% - 45% relative humidity, which is a significant improvement from the previous unit, as well as what the RH% was before I bought the first dehumidifier from Avylo. I highly recommend and will purchase products from Avylo in the future, as they stand true to their products warranty/support and this new unit has demonstrated how excellent the performance of their products are. Thank you so much team Avylo and a special thank you to Katerina! As for price, they are very competitive. I compared price against the energy efficiency rating vs the space that it dehumidifies up to, the methods of drainage (they provide 3 different methods), quietness (it is VERY quiet compared to the dehumidifier my parents have had), and how little space this unit takes up. I know there were a good amount of amazon vine reviews when I was first looking to purchase, but do not let that deter you, as I did take a chance, and am very satisfied with everything overall. This is an amazing company through and through!

Best dehumidifier EVER

I almost never write reviews, but I had to for this one! I live in a NYC basement in the middle of the summer, so basically, I’m in a swamp. This thing is saving my life. My apartment has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and this is able to keep the entire house comfortable. I was worried it wouldn’t be able to handle the large space but it is doing so with ease. While the humidity outside is 77%, inside it has been staying between 48-50% thanks to this machine. I can not emphasize how great this works. If you are debating, get it! It has changed my life. There is an indicator light with red, orange, and green which represents the level of humidity and will stay green when the house is at a comfortable level. Also, the water tank being on top is incredible. Compared to my humidifiers in the past, this one is so much easier to empty. It’s incredibly easy to use and I love the automatic feature - it will shut off on its own when it has reached the level that I set it to so I don’t have to worry. Incredible design - I would buy this over and over again!

Excellent dehumidifier

I gave 4 stars because the dehumidifier is strong and does its job well. Unfortunately it just didn’t do the job i intended it to do. I thought that if I got a dehumidifier that is drastically overrated for the space it was running in, that it would handle the entire space no matter where you put it. I put this in my 1000sqft house not far from the return duct. It definitely drew out a lot of moisture. However it would not cycle properly or reach its set humidity level because it wasn’t inside of one designated room with a closed door allowing it to get accurate readings and cycle how it should. Otherwise I think it’s a fantastic dehumidifier for the money especially if you’re using it in a basement or one single room.

Overall product quality seems very high - excellent fit and finish with high quality materials, impressive packaging, and a pleasing, superior industrial design that looks better, is more convenient, and may help with longevity (removing/replacing low mounted condensate tanks is often not gentle). Reports of excellent customer care and long warranty also impress. On the neutral to negative side, Avylo, like the other small players in this market, have gotten away from standard measurement conditions to inflate their numbers. The 90 pint/day capacity is at very high heat and humidity (which they DO note in their description, kudos for transparency) - at standard US DOE test conditions it produces 24.5 pints/day. Similarly, the 41 db noise level may not be realistic - I measure that value about 10 feet from the device, while measurements are usually made at 3 feet or a meter. That's louder than I hoped near bedrooms but MUCH better than decade-ago designs. And the humidity readout is about 5% lower than my Digiten DHC312 controller's, not great, but (barely) within spec. Finally, FWIW, in full sleep mode (all lights out, fan on low) it consumes around 270-280 watts with the compressor running, which is a little different from their published "stand" (what does that mean?) value of 235w. But, still, everything considered - quality, design, support, warranty, and efficiency - I would recommend without hesitation. I would buy another tomorrow if I needed it.
