This webcam holder is a nice little arm, and works great if you are creating a setup to film a stationary place like a workbench or above a cnc or laser, for example. It is lightweight but works fine for standard webcams, and even has a clamp for phones although I am not sure how effective it would be with modern phones due to their size and weight, but still a nice addition. I make a lot of videos for YouTube and video chat using this phone holder. And let me tell you, it works excellent! You don't need to look further, this thing works really good for holding your phone still. I inverted mine and mounted it top and bottom to my desk for added stability. I drilled a hole in my desk to accommodate the (I believe 1/4") camera attachment screw to anchor the mast (inverted bottom end) to my desk. It works perfectly.     • Great but could be so much better with a small fix

I believe that if you want to take top-down shots and you don’t want to have some kind of bulky permanent setup, this is a great option especially for light cameras and phones, I probably wouldn’t recommend this for more heavy uses. The only thing I can complain is about the fact that the horizontal rod is too short, so if you want to attach it from the side of your desk and you have a long desk it probably won’t be able to reach the middle of the desk, your only option would be anchoring the mount from the opposite side of your desk in front of you, which you probably will not be able to do if you have a computer or a wall like many of us, the only option is to mount it in front of you, so depending on how far up high your camera is and the size of your lens, unfortunately the mount will probably show up in your shot. Leaving that aside is very easy to store and has plenty of screws to add attachments like a flashlight or mic. Hope this helps. ... show more
