#1- I'm not an audiophile but these headphones were so much better than others I've used that I had to leave a positive review. I've never used any of the premium headphones so this review is based on comparing them to the ~$50 generic ones you'll see all over Amazon. I got these on a Black Friday sale, so basically same price as the generic entry level that I usually go to. At the same price level these are a no-brainer, but even at the normal price difference I would say these are worth it. The sound quality is night and day difference better on these. They (BT) connected immediately and stayed connected to my iPhone 14 with no issues, and I'm noting this because sometimes I've had connectivity problems with cheaper BT devices. I have an average size head and bigger ears and the over the ear muffs on these headphones fit my head perfectly and they are comfortable to wear for hours. Others I have tried the muff tends to run small and doesn't cover my entire ear very well, but again these are perfect for my head type. I can't speak to battery life, but out of the box I wore them about 3 hours and battery life was fine. That's about as long as I'm ever going to wear headphones in one sitting so the battery life/ comfort was fine for me. I didn't use the NC feature yet so can't comment on that. The over-ear seal was very good and seemed to do a great job of blocking outside noise. Have yet to use them as hearing protection from loud noise (i.e.- mowers, etc.), which will be a primary use of these, but based on how well they block out normal background noise I am sure they will do a great job of that too. If you're looking for a mid-level set of headphone to block out some noise, be comfortable, and play some tunes while you get some tasks done then I highly recommend these headphones from JBL. ... show more

My ears are getting older and hearing aids just don't allow me to hear my audio sources as well. I use these for my TV and stereo. The speech is much clearer from the tv as well as the music from both the tv and my stereo system. At this price point, they perform very well. I highly recommend these as an alternative to higher priced hearing aids to enjoy bluetooth devices audio. The sound is more full and doesn't leave my ears numb from high volume settings on the hearing aids. I should note that the battery life is very good. I use these several hours a day and they seem to last a several days depending upon how long I keep them connected. Bluetooth connection was a simple process, and is automatically connected and disconnected at power on and off time. The only noticeable thing is that the tv volume when connected is set very high, but automatically mutes tv speakers. If someone else wants to hear the tv, it might not be the best solution. I'm enjoying the headphones so far. Only other thing is after about an hour or two, I need to remove the headphones as they start to feel uncomfortable from pressure around my ears. I occasionally take a short break and that seems to work well. Lastly, I move around the house when listening. They work well up to about 30 to 40 feet. The media could not be loaded. They stay on great, they look really pretty, and the battery life it AMAZING. There reslly is nothing I can complain about. They are very sound proof, which is really good for mean in a house full of brothers. 🤌🤌 They aren’t too chunky, they nice and lightweight but also expensive feeling. (iykyk) The connection is quick and they sound performance is smooth. They are definitely a cheaper alternative to Airpods Max, and just really are something else. I saw lots of people at school with this brand, so this was my first option when looking for wireless headphones. I honestly love them, they fit a bit big, but my head is small. 😂 Other than that, really amazing. (also they’re ✨asthetic✨, and thats a plus for me) ... show more

    • Very good BT headphones, but NOT noise cancelling.
JBL Tune 710BT headphones very good over all -- but NOT noise cancelling. (NC is not even in the name.) I suspect they confused this with the JBL Tune 760NC because the battery life times match this product. I am keeping mine for two reasons: the long 50 hour advertised battery life, and the exceptional BT range. Sound quality is good for me, and I am very picky. I find them to be comfortable. But the ear pads aren't large enough to sit on the head, and they sit on top of the ears too. If you want a true "over the ears" experience, keep looking. I compared this to a similar skullcandy product. The competitor had slightly louder volume, but other than that, no significant difference. Battery life and a solid connection are important to me. The over the ear design is adequate for blocking out ambient noise even at medium volume levels. Also, passive listening with the included cable sounds better than I would have expected. Many have asked online how these compare to the JBL510BT, but I haven't found any clear opinions. I have the JBL710BT and the JBL510BT, and I took the time to compare the feel and sound of these. The mids and highs of the 510 and 710 are very similar and hard to tell apart. The biggest difference is the bass. Despite the smaller drivers, the 510 has enhanced bass and a higher max volume. Usually this is great and works well with "normal" balanced music. Songs with heavy bass, sometimes it is a little too much. The 510 is wireless only. The 710 also has a cable, if you want/need to connect this way -- and it sounds just as good without power. The 710 is a bit larger and heavier. The larger ear pads block out more ambient noise than the smaller 510. I like the blue color. Good luck, -Chris ... show more
