Very cute, but not for short people....The material is a soft medium to heavy weight sweat shirt fabric. The neckline is scooped - not a crew neck. The sleeves are adorable! The color combo is great! So why did I take off two stars? I am 5 feet tall. I love dresses that have pockets, but these pockets are placed right at the hip, making you look wider than you actually are. This probably would not be an issue for someone who is really tall, but it's terribly placed for someone short like me. I had to stitch the pockets closed on the side seam and then cut them out from the inside, so my hips didn't look huge. I will not purchase again, unless the patternmaker creates some without pockets. ... show more

I always wash my clothes before I wear them. With that being said, it shedded in the washing machine. And as I was wearing it green cotton balls/flint was left all over the house. I had no issue with the light tan dress of the same kind I bought. Not sure why this one was a mess.

Waste of material could be awesome had it been sized right. I will keep it and hope it shrinks after several wash and drying. Like I said the cut is great - sizing confusing - go down one or two sizes, kinda dice roll. I would say this is an iffy purchased based on sizing. It could be XL or L - both show on tag. It is huge either way. Comfortable, although too big, I am keeping it as it is warm and does have a nice shape. A true large would of been perfect. Nice material, good cut bad sizing. ... show more
