The media could not be loaded. WOW! is my first word to start this review and to describe the JBL GO4 Bluetooth speaker. Upon unboxing it I was very impressed on how light it really is, weighing in at 6.9 OZ (194g) it actually weighs less than my old iPhone 11 Pro Max 9.80 OZ (278g). The construction of the speaker is very nice high-quality and rugged. It really has a nice feeling on the hand when holding it. The small strap is a nice touch to hang your speaker from a suitable location. Connecting it to Bluetooth sources is foolproof. It connected right away the first time. I tested it with many types of music, and I was floored at how loud the speaker was. I did a test in the large living room setting the speaker at 7 feet away at full volume. This little one hit 75+ Decibels easily and with no noticeable distortion on the sound quality. The bass was very rich as well as with other music that has very low tones, they too sounded crystal clear. It filled the room with music. This is most impressive coming from such a small package. I would easily recommend the JBL GO4 to any music lover that needs a small very high-performing speaker. You won't be disappointed. But if you do get it, don't listen to music that loud around other people. I only did it to test its capabilities and it's quite capable alright. ... show more

I love JBL speakers! Please understand that this is a small personal speaker and is not going blow the doors off of a large room. With that being said, this speaker has exellent quality sound and is great for a small space or on the go. It is very light and does not take up much space so if you like to hike and camp and have some tunes that will not disturb the woods, This is your speaker. It has a soft feel to it and has a handy loop for attaching to clips for transport. With the JBL app you can set the EQ to the sound you like. You can also pair this with other speakers and play in stereo or more. It is also waterproof so you dont have to worry if it gets wet. but I would avoid that at all costs. My only complaint is that mine did not come with the protective bag as shown. I would have liked to have the bag to protect it when its packed away for travel. Comes with a charging cable and this thing charges super fast from completely dead. I have multiple JBL speakers and i have never been dissapointed with any of them including this one. I would highly reccomend this speaker to everyone. ... show more

This speaker is a little pricey buy you are paying for quality. The build quality is excellent and it looks and feels premium. Sound quality is also excellent with a suprisingly amount of bass in such a small package. It won't compete with larger speakers in sound, but for being a small very portable option it doesn't feel like its lacking. I would easily recommend this if you need something you can clip to a backpack or bike handle or anything like that. ... show more

I'm liking this speaker quite a bit. It's fairly loud and punchy for its size especially. My biggest complaint is that when dead, plugging it requires you to let it sit for a while unused before you can use it. It will shutoff despite being plugged in. I have never had this issue with any bluetooth speaker I've used before. It makes it annoying trying to resume playback after its died without having minutes of silence. Wow, this thing packs some great sound in a tiny little package. I am surprised how much bass and reasonably clear mids/highs can come from such a small speaker. It is imminently portable, both in size and form factor. The built-in finger loop is super handy and not just for holding - it's perfect for hanging this speaker somewhere to keep it off the ground.
