I was overjoyed to find this JBL product - not only is it hardy and attractive and shockingly small, it produces great sound with surprising bass, and it only cost $30. I cannot believe how much sound this little speaker packs. I've experienced the JBL Flip and that's what got me paying attention to JBL's portable speakers. That thing sounds so good. I wanted to be able to have an even MORE portable solution for sound. Something that would fit really easily into my work bag. I can't play music very loud in the office, but I wanted something better than my laptop speakers. This is MORE THAN solving that issue. I feel like this thing has no business being this small and sounding this good. It's rich, clean, and has enough bass to make any music or video sound great. I use it all the time. I never get it out and think aw man this is all the better my sound quality is going to be? Darn. I think, oh heck yeah I get to use this little guy again! When I have to stay in a hotel, I connect my laptop's bluetooth to it and watch movies. It really enhances the experience. I will completely forget that this great audio is coming from a tiny little bluetooth speaker. I get fixed on the media I am enjoying. Charing and pairing is really easy. I don't even know how long the battery lasts. I've never had it die. I know it can't go forever, but boy does it seem like it can go a real long time! I bought the boombox when it was nearly half off on prime day and now that I've tried 3 different models I have come to a strange conclusion. They get more impressive the smaller they get. There isn't much sacrifice for spending less and going smaller. But, the bigger you go the less I feel impressed. I turn on the big boombox and think oh man it's going to blow me away! But, in the end I just think wow it sounds really good too! Just like the little JBL Go! And the Flip! The boombox is incredible, as I expected, but I'm still very impressed with the JBL Go. If you need something quick and easy, this is so much easier to remember to pack or leave packed even. I'm sure in an outdoor setting something bigger will carry more. The boombox definitely has a ton more bass, as it should for that size. But, this little Go has enough bass that it will wiggle around on a countertop from the vibration. I really like the rubber pad on the bottom. I can sit it upright and it will stay in place. I also absolutely love that they make these waterproof. I have seem them get completely submerged on the river and they don't miss a beat. They just keep rocking. All of them. They're just doing so many things right with all of these products.

For the great price point the music is full sounding without too much bass. I listen to audiobooks and the sound is clear. I love the small size as well as the hook, so I can hang it using a carabiner clip. At one point I did have issues connecting to my iPhone 7 via bluetooth, but after looking at trouble shooting on www.support.jbl.com I was able to reset (Turn on speaker. Hold volume and bluetooth button 10 seconds. Or after turning on speaker, rapid press the bluetooth button several times). I do wish the volume was lower when the speaker first kicks in though.

First of all — buy the eco model. Support products that encourage manufacturers to embrace sustainability. Second of all — if you can buy this speaker for $25 like I did, wow are you in for a treat. This is hands down the best sounding Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever heard in this size category (mini speakers). It’s got a rich, bass heavy (but not too boomy) flavor and does very nicely with the mids. It lacks crisp high end clarity, but if you have an eq in your app, you can get a reeeeally good sound. The Bluetooth range is phenomenal, the battery life is decent, and so far, this thing doesn’t mind being tossed in the shower. It feels like it can handle being dropped and bashed, a lot… and it’s also quite attractive. I expect my unit will look like it’s been through war in a year or two, and I expect it will work just as well as day one. If you put this speaker flat on the wrong side, it’ll bounce off the surface like a jumping bean if the bass is loud. Stand it upright and be amazed at the sound, especially at high volumes. That’s the most astounding quality I’ve discovered. I can crank this from another room and it remains clear, and vibrant. It feels a little too pricy at $50; but at $25-40, I don’t think you can do much better for something this small.

This little speaker fits in the palm of my hand, but has super loud and very clear sound! I was able to connect it to my phone with ease, and the battery life has exceeded my expectations. I have had it for a month now and only needed to charge it once, even though I use it for short amounts every day. Perfect little speaker for small spaces (like an apartment, bedroom, etc), HIGHLY recommend!

My computer's speakers have gotten awful, so I got myself this. It is surprisingly excellent! Also, my kids fight over who gets to hold it, the toddler sticks it in their mouth, and my five year old keeps dropping it while having a dance party with it (after the 4th time in a row, I took it away). Still going strong with no difference in sound quality. It struggles a little bit with really low bass, but it's way better than the speakers on a phone or (even a functional) laptop. Only drawbacks are the battery life, and because it vibrates so hard with the music, it will dance itself off the edge of things and fall on the ground. Highly recommend, especially if you can get it half off like I did. Adds so much to your music listening experience and not too pricey.
