  • Good
Style: amplifier
Easy install, good sound. Only thing is the bass knob really doesn't do too much but overall good quality.

  • Great Amp
Style: amplifier
This amp really performs. I have it pushing 2 JBL 12’s and they really thump. Word of advice, do not go with the manufacturers suggestion of 8ga wire. Use 4ga wire for your power and ground.

  • Amazing!!

Sounds incredible and super powerful. The knob adjuster is very helpful as I don't always want the bass at max volume. Highly highly recommend.

  • Great value

Had some issues tying it with my GMC Bose system, once we figured out that I needed a better line output converter it works great!

  • Very disappointed
Style: amplifier
Had to send it back I wanted to like it but it didn’t happen. I had two amps hooked up to same source the jbl would keep clipping and there was a big difference in sound the alpine played it fine no clipping an bass sounded great put same sub on jbl it would start clipping and sub was popping when I turned it up. Sent back got another and it done the exact same thing so it didn’t work for me ... show more

  • Great monoblock amplifier with many options regarding set up.
Style: amplifier
The amp does well at providing really deep bass paired with my rockford p3d4-12. The lid is a little annoying to take off but after getting the right settings there shouldn't be a need to keep fiddling with the settings. (trying to convince myself here.) Highly recommend especially if you can get it on sale! ... show more

  • One year old, no issues, (update: 2 years, dead/fire hazard)
Style: amplifier
I've had the A600 paired with the JBL Stage 12" 4 ohm subs (parallel @ 2 ohms) for just over a year now and they are a good match. These are in my daily driver so they've seen plenty of play time, around 30 minutes to an hour 5 days a week, conservatively. I don't go easy on the amp and speakers at all. I make my own bass tunes and some of them feature almost 100% steady sine waves under 100 hz. The low-low's aren't great but that's what you get from 250w 12" subs in a compact vehicle. I don't blame the A600. If you want to get good vibrations below the 40hz range you could easily push a single 15" or 18" at 2 ohm with this amp. As good as it has been to me I now know there are quite a few class d mono blocks that are more powerful for less than half the cost of the A600. I'm sure some of those have inferior components and probably would not survive 400 days pushing peak power but if you do your research you'll see there are a dozen or so cheaper alternatives with good reviews from happy customers. I have a 2000w @1ohm amp in my other vehicle and it's happy to run peak power of 650w @ 2 ohms without even getting warm to the touch. I paid less than $100 for it. In fact, as I type this, the A1000 amp is $20 less than the A600. I feel like I got robbed a little. I also don't like the plastic trim ring that snaps on and off or the slide-off cover for the controls. I always feel like I'm going to break the plastic trim piece by pulling on it and sliding the cover down towards the power / ground / remote / speaker wires seems like a design flaw. That's not a good place to slide a big piece of metal into. Once you get it tuned in that's no longer an issue so it's not a deal breaker. Update, July 2024: Dead. Worked one day, the next day it blew fuses when I turned the car on. Checked for shorts, etc., replaced fuses, blown again. Pulled amp out of car, took inside and hooked up to a 12v / 40 amp battery block so I could test each wire. Unit stayed on but got REALLY hot REALLY quick. Didn't blow the fuses, though. I hope it would have blown them before melting. It was too hot to touch on one side, which to me seems like fuse blowing temps. This is after having 12.6v under low amps going through it for about 30 seconds. The only thing I can attribute to is possibly the weather. We had several days of 90-100 F temps. I had a 120mm fan wired up to blow air across the amp and it seemed to be working fine until it just didn't. ... show more
