    • Great Sound Bar for the price. Great rear speaker flexibility.
This is a great sound bar! The flexibility of the removable rear speakers helps this stand out from the rest of the Dolby Atmos sound bars out there. In addition, you can calibrate it to your room. This helps customize it to your room and helps make the sound even better Sound - It is awesome. My home theater sounds like it is surrounded with speakers. The bass is powerful, and even at the default of 3 setting can be overwhelming at times. I don't know how it could be better. The rear speakers sound solid and can be charged via USBC cables or plugged in to the bar to charge. This offers great flexibility since you don't need to have an outlet near each one. Connectivity - No issues whatsoever with the bluetooth connectivity. I love the way it powers on with the TV or streaming device, and can control the volume with any remote. All speakers, including the bass, connect via bluetooth. No need for wires. JBL App - Very easy to use and helps make set up a breeze. You will be using this bar within minutes of installing. It also helps with any updates that are needed. You will probably have one when you first connect. Remote Control - Kind of basic, but the truth is you don't really need it much. The App has a virtual remote as well. Installation - Very easy and all of the brackets you need are included if you are mounting it. I had it attached to the wall within minutes. The JBL app makes the other parts of the installation a breeze. Look - I think it looks great and makes for a clean and expensive look. No cloth covers over any of the speakers, which in my opinion look cheap and can get dirty or rip. Overall - You will not be disappointed with this purchase. The JBL Bar 1300 or 9.1 are great as well. The downside on the 9.1 is no App connectivity. It is cheaper than this one, but you give up some of the better sound due the additional speakers. Love love love this JBL Bar 1000 unit, the sound, the dialog, build quality, sleek remote control, bluetooth connection, Ethernet wired connection, simple setup, functionality, ease of use, detachable wireless surround speakers, and the JBL app to calibrate each speaker, in addition the app includes an integrated equalizer to suit your need. Every sound is heard, lol I mean every little, too big sound during testing. Seller shipped the order fast and I received the new unit within 4 days. Definitely an A+++ service. Packaging A+++. Definitely recommend this seller as my go to guy. I highly recommend the JBL Bar 1000 for anyone who can afford it and who is looking to upgrade that offers Dolby Atmos and DTS for outstanding audio. 👏🏻🤝🎉🇵🇷 ... show more

    • Fantastic upgrade for the average home
Sound quality is great. Love the Dolby Surround/DTS/Atmos features, and the detachable wireless surround speakers are great. Wish they held a charge longer but they’re easy to charge and the sound bar tells me when it’s time to plug them in. You can connect them to an outlet by usb-c cable or attach them to the sound bar to charge. I have a 60” Sony OLED tv on a low profile stand rather than the wall. The sound bar fully assembled (with surround speakers attached) will not fit in the space on the stand between the tv legs. Without the surround speakers attached, it fits great with a little extra room. So if I want to attach the surround speakers for charging I have to raise the soundbar off the stand while they charge. Not a huge deal, but know this is a really long soundbar (the entire system is 7.1 channels of great sound) so check your measurements if this applies to your setup as well. The soundbar can be wall mounted as well if you have a mounted tv if you’re looking for a clean- no component look. We have a cable box/DVR that isn’t wireless so this is the best setup for us. The subwoofer is massive compared to my previous entertainment system, and it can put out some seriously massive sound. Super high quality base though (I mean, it’s a JBL which is known for high quality audio). It’s great to listen to everything from tv to music, movies to games. Voices are clear even while powerful mids and lows are going off, and I don’t need to even come close to maxing out the volume. No audio distortion at higher volumes either. Just clear audio. Love it. I live in an urban flat in a four-story walk up and none of my neighbors have commented on it being too loud. Switching between my tv and Bluetooth devices is super easy, as is adjusting the surround and subwoofer settings. All from the remote. The design is great. It looks high quality and has the weight you’d expect from high quality audio components. It has controls on the soundbar and the remote, and it can be controlled for volume with most tv remotes. I highly recommend this model. I think it’s worth the price to have high quality audio in your home. ... show more
