The media could not be loaded. The JBL Bar 1000 unit, the sound, the dialog, build quality, sleek remote control, bluetooth connection, Ethernet wired connection, simple setup, functionality, ease of use, detachable wireless surround speakers, and the JBL app to calibrate each speaker, in addition the app includes an integrated equalizer to suit your need. Every sound is heard, lol I mean every little sound. Seller shipped the order fast and I received the new unit within 4 days. Definitely an A+++ service. Packaging A+++. I highly recommend the JBL Bar 1000 for anyone who can afford it and who is looking to upgrade that offers Dolby Atmos and DTS X for outstanding audio. 👏🏻🤝🎉🇵🇷 Tip: When I adjusted the eq in the JBL One app, I noticed that the voice could be heard better and the output was louder. I adjust the EQ depending on the content I am watching. For instance, there are some older movies or shows that I watched, I noticed that the dialogue was not as loud, so I went and adjusted the eq, ( Mid ) and raised it halfway and it solved the issue. Just remember, every content you watch could be different, so adjust accordingly. I rarely change it on mine and have left it at this setting since I purchased this system. Also, if you're watching a content on YouTube and the dialogue seems to be low, go into the settings and if available, uncheck the box that says Surround Sound 5.1 to Off. That should improve the dialogue of the content you are watching. ((Improving Rear Surround Speaker Output)) If your rear surround speakers are low or can't hear, do the following, it is important you follow the next steps to receive results If you want more power from the rear speakers, during the first part of the calibration, set the rear speakers closer to the soundbar (for example, in front of your sitting position) During the second part of the calibration, place them in their normal position (behind you). This calibration technique makes a difference in output. I have mine set to medium volume now so I can adjust depending on the content. Before they were always on high, and I often needed more volume, but couldn’t make any adjustments. Overall, I'm very happy with the JBL bar 1000 system. Hope this information helps for those who are or have experienced trouble with the dialogue volume and the rear surround speakers. ... show more

    • Fantastic upgrade for the average home
Sound quality is great. Love the Dolby Surround/DTS/Atmos features, and the detachable wireless surround speakers are great. Wish they held a charge longer but they’re easy to charge and the sound bar tells me when it’s time to plug them in. You can connect them to an outlet by usb-c cable or attach them to the sound bar to charge. I have a 60” Sony OLED tv on a low profile stand rather than the wall. The sound bar fully assembled (with surround speakers attached) will not fit in the space on the stand between the tv legs. Without the surround speakers attached, it fits great with a little extra room. So if I want to attach the surround speakers for charging I have to raise the soundbar off the stand while they charge. Not a huge deal, but know this is a really long soundbar (the entire system is 7.1 channels of great sound) so check your measurements if this applies to your setup as well. The soundbar can be wall mounted as well if you have a mounted tv if you’re looking for a clean- no component look. We have a cable box/DVR that isn’t wireless so this is the best setup for us. The subwoofer is massive compared to my previous entertainment system, and it can put out some seriously massive sound. Super high quality base though (I mean, it’s a JBL which is known for high quality audio). It’s great to listen to everything from tv to music, movies to games. Voices are clear even while powerful mids and lows are going off, and I don’t need to even come close to maxing out the volume. No audio distortion at higher volumes either. Just clear audio. Love it. I live in an urban flat in a four-story walk up and none of my neighbors have commented on it being too loud. Switching between my tv and Bluetooth devices is super easy, as is adjusting the surround and subwoofer settings. All from the remote. The design is great. It looks high quality and has the weight you’d expect from high quality audio components. It has controls on the soundbar and the remote, and it can be controlled for volume with most tv remotes. I highly recommend this model. I think it’s worth the price to have high quality audio in your home. ... show more
