This is very nice-looking wire for this gauge. It's flat. The wire is flexible and easy to work with. The wire itself looks high-quality. I had no problems trimming it properly and adding ferrules and banana plugs for use with my home sound system. The red stripe on the clear insulation makes it easy to follow the positive wire. This is a very high quality speaker wire. Smooth, punchy, and articulate… there is absolutely NO need for expensive “snake oil” products over this. Not unless you want to accessorize your stereo with something that looks expensive. But you won’t be buying better sound. Not stiff and lays nicely, easy to manage. I don’t know a lot about the jacket, but it’s PVC. I’ve heard Teflon would be better, but for the next decade at least, I’m more than good. You won’t be disappointed either.

Good product. Typically priced. Not too expensive, neither too cheap. In terms of quality, it's been a year since installing these cables and no complaints whatsoever. OFC is good, the wire insulation is as expected. Ticks all boxes in functionality. I bought these cables specifically for the high flexibility that I could see evidently with the illustration of the insulation. Usually with speaker wires, they often come with very rigid insulations and I did not want that. And I have had experience with other clear split-insulation speaker wires for being too tough too. This was the perfect cable for extreme flexibility. The reel length was also decent. Just that the cables come delivered a little oily. I'm sure it's a necessity of the manufacturing process but I hoped it would not be oily.

This was used for internal wiring of a speaker switching matrix, but would be good for short speaker runs too. Choose a heavier gauge for longer runs. Handles very well with a fairly soft thick jacket making preparation and stripping easy and clean. Good to have colors that aren't red & black to differentiate a different circuit. If I wanted to nitpick I could say that the darker conductor could be even darker to determine polarity more easily, but that really would be trying very hard to find a fault that doesn't really exist. Highly Recommended.
