I waited a while to review this bike to get some miles on it. Now up to about 300 miles on the bike with flawless operation. What a great value with quality materials and construction. I have set the battery to offer assist up to 9 mph, then very mild assist past that point which makes riding very comfortable and not tiring. I don't know when the battery would have died, but I recorded almost 80 miles on the bike with the battery showing some life left in it. Smooth operation and really nice having the front shocks. Assembly went well and the fit and finish was much better than what I expected. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another; what a great deal. UPDATE 9/8/2026. I have now had the bike for 8 months and really love it. Every feature of this bike works flawlessly. I only wish I had purchased the bike sooner. I just finished 675 miles of riding. I ride a little bit off-road and on smooth surfaces and have had a lot of hilly riding for good exercise. I didn't buy this bike to treat it like a motorcycle, but to just have an assist when I come to hills or take longer rides. It's been perfect. My tires need replacing at this point. The rear tire no longer has any tread on the flat service that touches the ground. Sidewalls are still like new and rubber looks great . Expect to get at least the same mileage I have just completed at 675 before needing new tires. This bike has been the best investment for enjoyment, reliability, and good health I have ever made. To date I have made three trips of over 24 miles each and I've got full confidence the bike will get me home every time. Battery life has been unbelievably good, too. At 24 miles of use with a couple of hills included I'm showing about 65% battery still available. I'm always peddling without much effort and appears the battery is happy with being there to assist me. Average speed is between 11-13 mph. I'm still giving this bike five stars and an A+++ review. The bike will easily get up to the top speed advertised without any work, but that is when the battery life really drops. Nothing beats this bike for the quality and value. Pleasantly surprised. I bought this lovely bike for $580, with low expectations. It is my first eBike, and I couldn't be happier. It took about 30 minutes to fully assemble. At first, I thought I was missing parts because the instruction video that I was directed to was just a random guy on YouTube assembling this bike, but his came with a different handlebar assembly. After a couple of minutes of panic, I recognized that I have a different (I think better) handlebar, with an easier attachment mechanism. Everything went together pretty smoothly with only minor adjustments needed. I added a nice set of panniers, and I have been running errands all over the neighborhood since. I am only in PAS0 to PAS3, as I am still getting the hang of it. It is a joy to ride, and I am happy to keep the V-6 SUV in the garage. I find the assist to be predictable and smooth, and quite capable at hill climbing. Battery life has been excellent over the 200 miles I have put on it. For reference, as I write this, I am 5'11", 185lbs and 54 years old. I like that it looks like a traditional bicycle, and not some dune hopper. It has lights, fenders, a horn and turn signals/brake lights. I definitely look like a dork on it, with all the safety features and my MIPS helmet, but I don't mind. I am happy to be out in the fresh air. Maybe I got lucky, but this has exceeded my expectations and has gotten my lazy body moving a little bit more. I don't think anyone buys a Jasion thinking they are getting some Swiss watch-type of elegance and craftsmanship--certainly not at these prices. For my purposes, it suits. Time will tell on the sturdiness and durability. It seems solid from where I am sitting, but I will update you in six months. ... show more

We are so happy with this purchase! Easy to put together. We have got many compliments on them already. Plenty of speed and the battery life lasts us hours. We have a very hilly neighborhood and we can easily climb the hills on these bikes even with pulling our two boys in the bike trailer which adds an extra 80 pounds of weight and we only have to use speed 2. There is plenty of power. If you are looking for an electric bike and don’t want to pay an arm and a leg this one is it! Very reasonably priced and the quality is just as good as other electric bikes we’ve had. Will definitely be purchasing another one for our son once he’s a bit older. ... show more

    • Perfect e-bike for older couple wanting to ride rails to trails

We have owned the e-bikes for 3+ months now and taken them on 8 bike rides typically 10-30 miles (rail to trail paths). Overall we have been satisfied but only 4 stars due to the number of small issues we had to address to date. Battery life has been excellent. Pedal assist work well with first assist speed at 11 mph and 15 mph for second speed assist (typically on flat ground and up moderate hills). Top speed is around 25 mph but no idea why anyone would want to race along at that pace. Bike frame and 7 speed gearing is well constructed. Cable management is well done and lighting (brake and turn signals) robust. Assembly was easy. However, elements of construction are cheap (e.g., gear shifter) and both bikes required numerous adjustments to operate correctly with brakes being the main issue. On one bike there was brake drag on the front disc and on the other the back brake was too loose. Took a while but in both situations fine adjustments corrected the deficiencies. One handle bar gear shifter broke on our third trip. It is a well known bike brake manufacturer part but nearly all of the assembly is cheap plastic. Luckily, the OEM replacement part is only $15 and changing it is pretty straight forward. Tires have been our other issue. One tire blew on our first ride and since it was a rear tire and I did not want to deal with rear wheel disassembly to replace the tire, we used a professional shop. Looked like damage to the rim of the tire during assembly or original tire manufacturing. Had shop inspect both bikes and found similar issue with second tire. Again, appears to be a lack of quality control with the tires. So while we had a number of small issues, overall we are satisfied with the e-bikes given their price point and our plan to use them on typically paved or packed dirt roads and rails to trails. ... show more

This is my second Jasion ebike as I liked the first one and the price is reasonable. It was easy to assemble and looks great! I went 35 miles on the first ride and still had 45% of the battery left. I have a peddle bike and my wife uses this bike to keep up with me. One reason I like Jasion is that when I needed support with my previous ebike, their support was easy to contact by email and helped me fix the issue. ... show more

I bought this as a Christmas gift and I wanted to wait before reviewing. So far this has exceeded all expectations. Easy to set up and has been flawless so far. Very impressed with this product so far. It has great power when needed, is very smooth and simple to use. It can reach speeds that are faster than most people will need but it can also go as slow as you want it to. Love the ability to peddle, or not. Comfortable and seems sturdy enough to last a while. Ordered both the regular Roamer and the Roamer ST. The ST arrived first, I was nervous because my Amazon account made it appear that both bikes had been delivered. Amazon put me in touch with Jasion directly. They provided an updated tracking number for the second Roamer and followed up to make sure I had all the info. It arrived a few days later, as promised. Went from nervous to very happy. First bike took about an hour to assemble, the second took less than half an hour. These ebikes are very easy to use. The motor engages smoothly with little or no " Jump". Plenty of power. ... show more
