I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my Jasion RetroVolt Pro. It was easy to assemble and in no time, I was riding my new bike. Everything worked flawlessly right out of the box. Shifted smooth as glass and the 3000w (peak) motor moved me around with very little effort. I’m around 6’ and weight about 200lbs. It’s quick and an absolute blast to ride. The hardest part about the bike? Keeping my wife and kids off of it. It has been great on the trails and the roads. My highly modified Rad Mini 4 was getting long in the tooth and needed a full rebuild and I didn't want to be without a bike for this spring, so I picked up this one. A bit about me and my use case: I'm a short 5'4" 65 year old guy that lives in North Portland, OR. There is a lot of very good bike routes in my area so I can get anywhere I need on an ebike. The bike was easy to put together, the hardest part was getting it out of the box. It took me about an hour. Charged up the battery and aired up the tires and have been riding it for the past week or so. I'd say I've put about 30 miles on it. This bike moves. I'd say I can get it up to about 33 MPH but if you ride it that fast all the time you're going to chew up your battery quickly. I find myself usually in mode 3 which keeps me at about 22 MPH max. With the Rad I would mostly ride it full throttle, even after upgrading the controller and adding a 52V battery. I need to learn that I don't need to floor the Jasion. It is nice to be able to get up-to-speed with traffic when needed for some sections of my area that don't really have bike lanes (Lombard over I-5.) Build quality is quite acceptable and the parts are standard. The brakes are good and the ride is competent and comfortable. I'm about as short as someone would want to be for this, so keep that in mind if you're on the lower side of five foot. I purchased an ebike trunk from Harbor Freight (Apache 2800) and bolted that on to the existing holes on the back deck, it fits well and give me a place to store my lock. I also added mirrors (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6RBSGQT) which makes riding so much safer in traffic. All in all, it's an outstanding value for the money and was about half what I paid for the Rad 4 years ago. If you want a nice little neighborhood runabout, this is a good choice.

Overall happy with this bike, long battery life, and pretty fast. It will go 38mph like the description shows. I did have to adjust the derailleur but that was not too difficult. Assembly was easy, took less than 15 minutes. The cable sleeve does not have the logo on it as shown but that doesn’t matter to me. Would be nice if it came with a phone holder for the handle bars like the less expensive bikes I previously bought for my kids (different brand).

My favorite thing about the bike might be the design, it is large, resembles a classy dirt bike and is balanced very well. I have people constantly flagging me down commenting on how cool it looks and asking about its top speed. The second best thing is probably the breaks, they’re silent, responsive, and genuinely work well. I have 0 issues stopping on a dime on the road with cars in traffic. I’ve gotten the bike up to 38.3 mph and it doesn’t slack on the main or back roads so it’s street legal as long as you have a standard drivers license. In terms of miles I would say I got somewhere between 20-22 miles while in gear 5 (top speed for most of it) with very minimal pedaling. The seat is comfortable and it does allow for different seating positions whether you wanna be up right or leaning forward / back. Obviously there’s room for 2 but as a grown man the only people getting on the back would be petite people but it’s nice that there’s pegs for any other riders. The head light is very strong and shines wide enough that you can see the road as you commute so it’s nice for spotting pot holes and being viewed by vehicles. The brake light and turn signals are also extremely convenient.

It is my first time with an electric bike, and I haven't ridden a bike since I was 16 and had a run of the mill 24" mountain bike from Walmart or maybe it was the Kmart back then. I finally got a chance to test it out in the garage of my building and wow it really works! Even with me at exactly 300 lbs, it takes off like a bat outta h*ll with the slightest touch of the throttle! The garage of my building is small, and the brakes stop me within 2 seconds. So give yourself 2 seconds of space to stop! I can really feel the shocks react and bounce back when coming to a stop! It feels crazy fast! Maybe I am too old for this?! Haha! The seat still gave way a little bit but is not swinging wildly around like it was before I bought a universal torx wrench to tighten the thumb screw more for my weight. I do not feel like this will be an issue riding considering my larger size. If it does, my fix will simply be to duct tape it ridiculously good and thick! I'm sure I can handle it! It probably does come with the territory of being a heavier rider. Customer service has been very responsive with my question about tightening the seat. I still can't imagine anyone able to do that by hand alone. But they have offered to send me an accessory of choice and I feel that's incredibly generous and good customer service. The bike sure is heavy and solid, definitely high quality, and I'd expect to get a whole lot of life out of it. It will just take some practice and retraining, as I am old and have been out of practice and driving a car for so many years. I did always imagine myself getting a motorcycle in my golden years, so maybe that will be in my future once I get the hang of this very powerful electric bike.

Do not purchase from this company. I ordered an e-bike back in December and also paid extra for a 2-year warranty, expecting peace of mind and reliable support. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience at all. Less than a month after receiving the bike, the motor stopped working completely. Since then, I’ve been trying to get this issue resolved, but it has been months of delays, broken promises, and no real solution. I was told a replacement motor would be sent out, but it never arrived. Every time I followed up, I was given the same response—that it would be shipped “next month.” It is now May, and I still have not received anything. This has gone far beyond a reasonable delay. To make matters worse, this bike was purchased for my son, who relies on it for transportation to school. What was supposed to be a helpful and practical investment has turned into a major inconvenience and ongoing stress. I also attempted to process a return. The bike is still in great condition overall, with the only issue being the defective motor. Despite this, my return request keeps getting denied after initially being told it would be approved. The back-and-forth and lack of accountability have been extremely frustrating. I’ve never had such a disappointing experience with a purchase, especially through Amazon. The lack of communication, delays, and refusal to properly resolve the issue have made this a complete waste of money and time. I strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing from this company.

This bike is absolutely fantastic! I did a lot of research on E bikes and went to a brick and mortar store to check them out before purchasing. This bike seems like a solid deal, especially after seeing it in person. The Amazon price was better than the in person price, although I did have to assemble it, however assembling was a snap. The bike could easily carry a 200+ pound adult no problem. I purchased for my teen but honestly, the whole family has a ton of fun taking it out for a spin that I might have to get another! I’m the smallest of the group at 5’5” and I could ride it just fine. Seems very well made and the battery lasts a long time. My son went on vacation for a week and the first thing he wanted to do was come home to ride his bike!

Phenomenal performance / one of the most beautiful engineered moped style bikes that is 100 % legal because it's still an ebike. 2 person assembly is much much easier - it will be difficult yourself. Rides like a dream, very happy with this purchase, look at the specs of the Juiced Scrambler and then look at the specs of this bike and it's price, and it's a no-brainer. Remember, this is a 52 volt, 2000 Watt peak power ebike, and the seat is a work of art! Beautifully stitched almost like a expensive Couture handbag. Five stars all the way!
