I researched ebikes for a week or so before settling on Jasion. I wanted to make sure the company i chose had customer service and a good reputation as there are a lot of no name bikes out there and if you meed support there is no one to contact. That being said, we chose the old model retrovolt for our teen boys because we liked the styling of the bike. When the item arrived the one of the seats was damaged in packing, the customer service sent me a new seat immediately after contacting them with pix. No complaints there. As far as the performance, it’s everything they say it is. You can get it up to 30 mph pretty quickly. It’s fun to ride. The battery lasts a long time. It’s functional if you add a basket to it. It’s easy to put together and I’m not mechanically inclined. All the brake pads rubbed badly out of the box so i wish they gave instruction on how to adjust those. (As all 3 of the bikes i ordered from them had this issue ) It is fitted for a second person, i have not tried two up but i don’t think it would be comfortable and i doubt it would have the same level of power getting to higher speeds. We use it off and on road which is why we chose this model. Handles both effortlessly. I kind of think the chain pedal assist is stupid. It would make way more sense to just make it full powered. But I’m sure there is a legal reason they all have pedal assist. It is not a bike you are ever gonna just pedal ride. I guess if you ran out of juice on your battery, but it would be a difficult journey. I also nought the YR20 Jaison from the website which is basically the updated version. It is quicker off the line. It has some upgraded parts. It came with a 2 yr warranty and was only a couple hundred more. I would recommend this for bang for the buck and quality. ... show more

Great choice, wonderful product. I wanted a bike with versatile functionality that can double up a vehicle for me and my partner, can be used for a quick trip to nearby grocery store as well as can be used for a pleasureable ride to enjoy all kinds of terrains. It is just the right height and weight that can be easily managed. The bike rides super comfortably, without any noise. Hope that will stay so with regular maintenance. The bike can pick up speed with minimal effort. The ride at 20mph was pretty smooth. The charger could be a little faster. Hope Jasion comes up with a faster one. I have used it for over 25 miles and the charge shows 80%. That is pretty awesome. ... show more

I wish I could rate this e-bike with five stars but although I loved riding this bike, it was missing one crucial security feature: ignition. When the battery is connected to the bike, all you have to do is switch the battery on and then press the on/off button on the bikes handlebar. If there was an ignition instead of the on/off button, I am more than sure that the bike would have not been stolen from me. Ironic part of all of this is that I still have to continue making payments each month until the bike I no longer have be paid off. 😟. Also, the battery is not what’s advertised. I bought this little bike to carry my things to my deer stand. Being older for me means having a bad back, So I needed some help. This bike has been the answer. The large seat is comfortable, and the rear rack allowed me to install a "basket" to carry things in. I plan on installing a bow/gun rack on the handle bars but haven't found the one I want yet. The headlight is bright enough to allow vehicles to see you and see where you're going, but I also use a headlamp after dark. The bike is fast, if you want it to be, or slow if you want to take it easy. I am 6' 2" and 200 lbs and it fits me good Looks like it would be just fine for a shorter rider too. I also like the " walk beside" feature as it allows you to walk next to the bike but it pulls its own weight. Overall, I would not hesitate buying another one. They are so much fun and prectical for outdoorsman. ... show more

It really is very well built. I have put about 250 miles on it during the summer and have enjoyed it. I’m surprised that the size of the bike really fits a large adult. I’m also surprised that the battery life which is quite good.
