This E-bike is worth every penny! I am very happy with it. This being my first one, I didn’t quite know what to expect. I am amazed with the performance. It goes like a rocket. It was very easy to put together, but it comes with no instructions, and even the website did not include any. I did find an operator’s manual on a separate website. There were missing bolts to mount the display, the front light, and the front fender. Jasion did not send any bolts, but did offer to reimburse me for ones that I would need to purchase. ... show more

    • Buyer Beware - This Company Quickly Ruined My Enthusiasm for an Ebike
Short Version: -This product came with no instructions, just a card linking you to their site which does not have a Jasion EB5 Ultra as of 7/23/2026. I assembled it by using internet pictures - The battery arrived completely dead - Charger feels light and low quality and got very HOT. I spent several hours and made multiple attempts to charge the dead battery, but the charger just became dangerously hot and the battery didn't charge. - After the charger cooled to room temperature later in the day, I tried again on the original outlet, the battery appeared to take a charge (or indicate that it was charged), but I did not feel comfortable plugging it into the bike as it might do more damage. - I called support 4 times, but after 2 minutes and 15 seconds of holding, it tells you that everyone is busy and disconnects you. - I created a support ticket and got what felt like a generic AI response asking me to test the charger and battery with a multimeter and for some standard proof of purchase information. I provided the information, and explained that I didn't own a multimeter, but didn't hear from anyone. - I called support again (this time I was able to speak to someone) and explained the problem and what I was dealing with. I was told that someone will contact me again in 24-48 hours for troubleshooting or replacement. -Now 59 hours after my original email, I got a generic email response basically asking me again to test with a multimeter that i did not have; in fact it showed no evidence that it had seen anything I previously sent - I tried calling support 3 times again today, but again got disconnected after 2 minutes and 15 seconds. - I tried to start a return and Amazon wouldn't let me without going through the seller that I cannot get to engage with me on any meaningful level. Essentially, even if I can get the company to somehow respond and give me a refund, I will have wasted a lot of time and effort to get back to where I started, but with much less enthusiasm and excitement. ... show more

Overall, this bike is amazing. Super fun, though dangerous if not riding responsibly. There’re some things that I wish I knew before buying this model bike, and there’re some things that were the selling point that made me go for it. The brand is good, from what I know and recommend by others. The model specifically I got beware of the unknown. The EB5 Ultra is basically nonexistent. Nothing on the Jasion website about it, only a few YouTube results, Google results, etc. It will come up as the EB5 Max. Assembly was straight forward, though once again no manual in the box, nor on the Jasion website. It has a great battery. Within owning it for 5 days I already have 200 miles on the odometer. Fast and range are excellent. I got the top speed to 38mph. Range is great at a lower pedal assist, around 50 miles at 10-15mph cruising speed give or take. The fat tires are great for Michigan pot holes. At fast speeds it’s almost like gliding across them, although sidewalks are a different story. I have gotten stopped by police once, it’s required to have the headlights on at night, but the bike is considered a e-bike not a e-moto. Either way, I ride it like it is a motorcycle, stopping at stop signs, red lights, following traffic laws like speed limits and all that. I’m 5’7, and honestly this bike is too big for me. I struggle to use my tippy toes to hold the bike up at a stop, and in a sense looks goofy. Multiple co-workers that are into e-bikes have said that it is huge, and I didn’t exactly perceive how big it actually would be. I have a small space to store it, and it’s fine, but much bigger than your average mountain bike. Other than that it’s a great bike and I love it, it’s incredibly fun, and practical for commuting. Much faster than I need. I haven’t gone above PAS 2. 16 mph is plenty for me. But I like having the power for when I need it. The bike rides high so use caution. The tires are awesome but watch the tight turns on pavement. This is an off road bike. It loves the dirt and gravel and that is where I ride most. I’m 6’0” tall and weigh 238 pounds. Didn’t get a manual for assembly and had to jump through some hoops to get it. Battery didn’t work when charged. Wanted me to jump through hoops to resolve. Still unresolved
