  • Good quality
Color: Gray Style: Standard
The good: Showed up packed well, assembly was easy and straight forward. Battery was fully charged out of the box. A lot of fun to ride. Seems really well built, heavy. The bad: Both tires slowly loose air, about 8 pounds overnight. Front tire starts vibrating around 15mph, will have to look into getting this fixed. Size: Bigger than expected, I'm 5'10 and can put my feet flat on the ground with the seat in the lowest position. 4.5 stars, would be 5 if not for the issues with the tires ... show more

  • Amazing bike, loving it, small challenges
After having ordered 2 of this bike and riding them around for a month here are my key takeaways to share. Challenges 1. I see they addressed the issue with people saying the front wheel fork gets bent in delivery by putting a bar with 2 nuts on it. Confusing part though was this was not reflected in any videos or the instructions. For a noob this presented a challenge but eventually I figured out what it was, its purpose, and how to remove it. Overall assembly took me about 30mins per bike. 2. On one of the bikes the back tire was flat day 1. Pumping it up gets it good for about a day but it needs a tube replacement. I don't know how to replace it but what I have gathered with these bikes is that they are easy to figure out with enough online research and some basic tools. 3. There are no holes to install things like bottle holders and phone holders. Get ones with clamps! Things I appreciate about it, 1. For the price point it has been a blast! It has gotten me on the road after work most days which is a huge win for my personal goals. It is a ton of fun and having the ability to change from 0-3 in assist is helpful for when I want it off to push myself or if I need it at some points on hills and such. It will not get you up a steep hill by itself! But it will assist you which is mainly the point. 2. It has an intuitive feel about it. The handlebars and seat are comfortable, the throttle and display are sleek and handy, I can tell it was well designed. 3. I have taken it on paved trails and roads just fine, as well as some easy trails. It is rather smooth overall. 4. Battery life is great if you don't use the assist by itself or on higher levels for long periods. When treating it like a motorcycle or trying to go fastest it will die in about 2hrs of riding. But used as a gentle assist I got the same distance in that would normally cost me about 75% of my battery in about 10%. Used as a tool it is rather efficient and can last multiple trips. I am sure with time as I get stronger and build endurance I can make the battery really last. If you are looking for a fun entry point to an ebike that is well thought out and has some pep to it to get you out there then look no further! This bike is an awesome e-bike purchase! ... show more

  • A great buy!
Color: Gray Style: Standard
Such an awesome bike! I love to ride trails in my area as well as DoorDash so this has not only made it fun, but super easy! It was defiantly costly but well worth the price. Not only is it very comfortable when riding on for long periods of time but it looks awesome, and the size fits me. It's very durable and has great stability when riding on uneven paths as well. It is a little heavy but I would expect it from something as cool as this! ... show more

  • Worst customer service ever no help at all.
Color: Gray Style: Standard
How can I give a -5. This seller is the worst. The bike they sent had a defective battery. It would not take a charge from day one. We contacted the seller for support they only provided troubleshooting steps that did not resolve the problem with the battery. They never did offer a replacement under warranty for the battery. I then tried to get a refund via Amazon they promised they would handle it. I have been on many chats with Amazon they have failed to get the seller to respond. Don’t buy their junk bikes. You will regret it the batteries have a defective battery Managment system. If you search you tube you will find untold entries and clips of people trying to solve the same problem we have. Find an onshore bike seller with good customer support. You will be disappointed with this seller. We are trying to get the bike working with a local bike shop now at our cost. The batteries are something he can sometimes get he had worked on this brand right now he said he is on a two month back order. Not acceptable we bought this as a bike for commuting to work. . ... show more

  • The beast
Color: Gray Style: Standard
Awesome bike, Heavy and sturdy. I tried being the macho guy and looked for higher wattage. I am very happy that I found this bike with 2000 watts max. Plenty of power, super smooth and easy to work through. Packaged very well and assembly took about twenty minutes. The bike is whisper quiet and smooth as silk. This is a great bike from a good company. Arrived early. I would recommend this company and their bikes to anyone. Check out their store or website and I think you will be surprised just like I was at the various bikes they have. The battery came fully charged and carried me through a few days of riding in the town. ... show more

  • Great bike! Good for big guys Great bike! Good for big guys
Color: Metallic Green Style: Standard
The bike base comes mostly assembled. Does, tools put everything together if you need them. Tools are adequate and did the job. I actually kept the tools that came to fit to put the bike together and now I carry them in a poach in case I need them for if I’m on the road. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble the bike. It does come with a nice follow along video to watch. I’m not that mechanically inclined, but it was easy enough for me. I wouldn’t be intimidated by it. I’ve driven the bike now for about 20 miles and so far so good performance is good. I’m a big guy so I did replace the seat as it was uncomfortable. I’ve not been on a bike ride long enough to test the endurance of the battery but for the amount that I’ve gone it has done well. Sidenote: notice the pictures that I’ve posted. The basket came with miscellaneous scratches in the paint I feel they could’ve done a better job Packaging this but as you can see from the pictures, they do do a pretty good job it could be. It’s just incidental scratches from shipping. Would I buy this bike again? Yes 👍 I recommend it to a new person absolutely. Shipping went well good communication with the sales department and shipped on time. I also bought a second bike. ... show more

  • What a great ebike
Color: Metallic Gray Style: Standard
I'm so happy with this bike. I charged it once and I've been riding around our neighborhood and beyond for the past few days. Me and a buddy put it together in about 30 minutes. It seems super sturdy. It accelerates quickly and goes faster than I really need. It looks great and im super happy with the price. Im taking it to Silver Falls state park in a couple of days. It has 5 speed assists and on number 5 it goes fast. Gonna get my wife one soon. For the price, I highly recommend it! ... show more

  • Fantastic Budget Fat Tire E-Bike Fantastic Budget Fat Tire E-Bike
Color: Gray Style: Standard
First I'd like to start by saying that I do all of my own bike maintenance and have for some time, so I'm familiar with cycling and have had a few e-bikes. I did 3k miles in 6 months on my last e-mountain bike, and well over 10k on the previous before that. I'm also a volunteer bike mechanic in my city during my free time. I've had this bike for a few weeks and have put a few hundred miles on it as I commute 20 miles a day. Initial impression is pretty standard for partially assembled bikes like these. My bike came pretty early, I think half a week. They did a very good job wrapping all of the components with protective material and plenty of cushioning for the sensitive parts. The tires came fully inflated which was rather surprising, but welcomed for those who want to ride right away. I put my own road tires on these right away, so I can't say to the stock tires. They look fine and I'll use them in the winter. The materials of the bike are pretty well made all around with one part that makes me nervous: the LCD display is mounted on a somewhat cheap piece of bracket/mount on the handlebar. You could easily snap the screen off the mount if you put enough force or flipped the bike upside down to change a tire. It's easily adjustable, so just be aware of it. Size & Stability: This is a huge, heavy bike. This has positives and negatives. Being so heavy, it feels extremely stable on the road and at higher speeds. Cracks and bumps that would make me grip my mountain e-bike are barely noticeable. At higher speeds I thought the LCD speedometer was wrong since it felt slow; nope, the bike is just very smooth. A con to the weight is carrying it. I had to carry this up a flight of stairs and it was pretty difficult. I'm 5'10" and lift heavy stuff all day, so taking this up and down stairs is very impractical if you aren't too strong. If you get off and don't hold it tightly it WILL fall and possibly take you with it. Be careful. Performance: This thing is FAST. They list it at 28+ emphasizing the plus. I don't know if I got a higher wattage motor or lucky parts, but mine easily goes into the 30s at full charge and feels like there's still power. I let off the throttle at 31 because it's too much for a bike in my opinion. I don't take it past 25 much, and I don't recommend anyone do this without proper gear and tires. That being said, the PAS levels are alright and pretty standard with levels 1-5, 1 being somewhere around 8mph, level 2 15mph, and 3 (which I usually keep it at) 20mph. 5 is full power which I use the throttle with. The computer sends too much power immediately when pedaling at level 3 so it will jerk you and take off, then eases up to 20/21mph. You may be able to change this in the LCD settings (mine came unlocked), but this is more personal preference. The LCD has lots of settings and controls that I haven't really messed with, which is very welcomed as other brands typically lock them down, which is a shame for us who like to tinker. The brakes are okay. I adjusted them immediately before even riding the bike through an alignment as I do with all of my bikes (YouTube will show you this, it's easy). They stop fine, but are rather noisy. The pads are somewhat cheap which is what I expected, but they're enough for a bike of this size and speed. The rear rotor is thin so sometimes when accelerating quickly it will rattle. My previous e-bike did this and I find it very annoying, although it doesn't affect anything stopping wise. Battery: The physical battery itself is huge. My previous EB-M1 was half the size but also half the range. Their range estimates are not exaggerated and I was pleasantly surprised as most other companies flat out lie or stretch the truth. Being familiar with e-bikes, I know how to stretch the range and did so on this bike one day. I did somewhere between 30-40 miles while keeping the motor at PAS 2 and got home with 50% battery. I ride 20 miles a day total to and from work, 10/11 miles each way. When I get to work I usually have 80-85% battery left which is exceptional. Other things I like: The rear rack is great in my opinion. It's very hefty and matches the bike well. I already put saddle bags on it and plan to use it to haul my camping gear. There's torque arms already installed which connect to the rear rack but look like they don't need to be. Cheaper e-bikes sometimes won't include torque arms which is incredibly dangerous and could cause the acceleration of the motor to rip out the rear wheel! The headlight is very good as well. It seems to be a projector system and is more like a motorcycles. It spans wide left and right but has a distinct horizon cut off at the top of the beam which prevents you blinding people, a very nice touch. Summary: This bike has some budget quirks that most budget e-bikes do, but nothing that really stuck out to me worth taking a star off. For the price the EB5 Max is absolutely 5 stars. Their speed and range specs are true, frame and build quality are good, and it's also a good looking bike. The LCD mount should be upgraded by Jasion in the future. ... show more
