  • Great bike for the money!
Color: Gray Style: Standard
Ordered this bike and it was delivered very quickly! The assembly was very simple and required only the tools included with the bike. The bike itself is very high quality and gets up to speed very quickly! The brakes stop the bike very well and are simple to operate. Controls are intuitive and easy to use and see. The functionality of this bike is excellent. I would highly recommend this bike for anyone looking for a great quality commuter bike. Battery life appears to be good so far, I have not used a full charge yet. In my opinion this is a great value for the money. ... show more

  • AWESOME E-BIKE! IT'S A TANK AND I LOVE IT!
Color: Gray Style: With Black Saddlebag
This is my first EBike. I've had it for 2 weeks now. I bought it because my daily drive is an 8 cylinder SUV. I mostly only go to the grocery store and pharmacy - both of which are very close to my house. I got this EBike with the saddlebag. THIS BIKE IS A TANK! When I was younger, I rode both racing bikes and mountain bikes. This thing is SUPER beefy! The bike is fast, easy to handle, and comfortable to ride in 'all electric' mode (without peddling). The cruise control works great. And the best part for me - the saddlebag is big enough to fit a gallon of milk plus a bit more (on each side). It also secures firmly so things wont slide around and because of the bike's weight (and my weight), there's no uneasy riding feeling when the saddlebag is full on each side. It came missing one of the screws for the handle-bar. I contacted the seller, they responded promptly. The solution was me buying the screw and them reimbursing me for it which worked great - the money was refunded promptly. So - from my experience, their Customer Support is great. 1. If you're a 'boomer' like me, you're used to having printed instructions on how to put things together included with the item you bought. This doesn't have that. You have to use the e-manual from their web-site (I hate that!). Being a 'boomer' and remembering bike maintenance when I was young, I didn't really need a manual anyway. 2. Height: I'm 5'10" and my pants inseam is 28 inches. With the bike seat all the way down, I can comfortably come to a stop and lean over a bit to put my foot down. But while riding, peddling is difficult at best because the seat is so low. That's a big difference between EBikes and regular bikes. You're not peddling for speed, you're peddling to ease the draw on the battery so it really feels awkward. Hopefully it's something I can get used to. So if you're going to use this regularly to drive distances of more than 5 miles per ride and use peddle assist on the majority of your ride, you should probably be taller. If your inseam is less than 28", I'd safely say that this bike is probably not for you. 3. Brakes: Work better than any bicycle I've ever ridden. Like bikes - I use the back brakes more than the front. VERY easy to get the hang of. 4. Battery Life: Again, I use this bike for short rides, so the battery is great for all I need to do. With my 1-2 mile rides to the grocery store and other stores, when I get home the battery is still at 90%. I recharge it after every use. I know from working with solar lithium batteries, recharging a battery often before it 'dies' all together will extend battery life. 5. Durability: I can't really offer up a review on this as I've only had it for a few weeks. I keep it garaged all the time so I'd imagine that it will last (or I hope it will at least) 6. SAFETY: WEAR A DARN HELMET HUH?! I bought a helmet on Amazon that has good ratings and good testimonials from those that have had accidents. It also has a slide out 'thing' that you can put your bike lock chain through so that when you go into the store, you can leave your helmet with your bike and know that it'll be there when you return. 7. Security: Get a six foot long bike lock! I've noticed that there's many stores that dont have bike racks to lock and you have to go around a pillar. 8. INSURANCE: GET IT! I called my car insurance company and got insurance for this bike for $101 a year. It covers theft and accidents with a $200 deductible. This is a REALLY cool looking bike - and if left unlocked while you're in the store - it 'may' not be there when you return. Having the piece of mind that you're 'covered' is a good thing. ... show more

  • Amazing bike, loving it, small challenges
After having ordered 2 of this bike and riding them around for a month here are my key takeaways to share. Challenges 1. I see they addressed the issue with people saying the front wheel fork gets bent in delivery by putting a bar with 2 nuts on it. Confusing part though was this was not reflected in any videos or the instructions. For a noob this presented a challenge but eventually I figured out what it was, its purpose, and how to remove it. Overall assembly took me about 30mins per bike. 2. On one of the bikes the back tire was flat day 1. Pumping it up gets it good for about a day but it needs a tube replacement. I don't know how to replace it but what I have gathered with these bikes is that they are easy to figure out with enough online research and some basic tools. 3. There are no holes to install things like bottle holders and phone holders. Get ones with clamps! Things I appreciate about it, 1. For the price point it has been a blast! It has gotten me on the road after work most days which is a huge win for my personal goals. It is a ton of fun and having the ability to change from 0-3 in assist is helpful for when I want it off to push myself or if I need it at some points on hills and such. It will not get you up a steep hill by itself! But it will assist you which is mainly the point. 2. It has an intuitive feel about it. The handlebars and seat are comfortable, the throttle and display are sleek and handy, I can tell it was well designed. 3. I have taken it on paved trails and roads just fine, as well as some easy trails. It is rather smooth overall. 4. Battery life is great if you don't use the assist by itself or on higher levels for long periods. When treating it like a motorcycle or trying to go fastest it will die in about 2hrs of riding. But used as a gentle assist I got the same distance in that would normally cost me about 75% of my battery in about 10%. Used as a tool it is rather efficient and can last multiple trips. I am sure with time as I get stronger and build endurance I can make the battery really last. If you are looking for a fun entry point to an ebike that is well thought out and has some pep to it to get you out there then look no further! This bike is an awesome e-bike purchase! ... show more

  • You get what you pay for.
So, this isn't a terrible e-bike. But it's not amazing, either. I use it for my 5 mile commute to work daily. 25 mph top speed takes a lot of effort, and the battery drains quickly. The tires and tubes that come with the bike are pretty trash, and you'll have to true the rims. You can do all of that for around $60 if you're not lazy or useless, a truing tool costs maybe five bucks. I wouldn't trust the 40 mile range listed. The battery drains fast. This is a bike to make quick, short runs on and save gas. It's pretty good for that purpose. If you're just looking for a cheap ebike that is reliable for short trips, and you don't mind putting in a bit of work, this is a good option. I gave four stars because while I'm satisfied with the purchase, the bike is on the low end of products. It's not an incredible ebike, it's a serviceable ebike, and that's what the price reflects. You get what you pay for with this product. ... show more
