I waited several months to write a review for this bike because I was skeptical given the low cost, but in this price range it’s an absolute champ. I weigh 164 lbs and can keep it at 20mph consistently, also operates well on mild uphills. Quick to charge and keeps a good charge, easy to operate and manuever, and has a solid kickstand. The pedal assist feature isn’t all that functional especially compared to higher end e-bikes I’ve ridden but that’s fine, honestly given the cost I’m just glad it has a pedal system in case the battery craps out early. Which it hasn’t yet. You should know that the handlebar is not vertically adjustable, my 5 ft tall godson can ride it but barely. If you’re shorter than that, the seat adjusts down but the handlebar can be unwieldly. If you’re looking for a first entry e-bike and don’t have any broad needs for it, I highly recommend this one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a very interesting form factor for a bicycle, especially an electric bike. First of all, I noticed that this box was noticeably heavier than my last "clown electric bike", which can be either bad or good. But once I opened the box, I noticed right away that the frame of this electric bike is much much sturdier and thicker than my last electric bike. Similarly, this electric bike also requires a few final steps to assemble it together, which is pretty much the same from my previous electric bike, so it only took me about 20 minutes or so. The most important step is assembling the front wheel, make sure to follow the manual carefully (which is very detailed and has a picture to illustrate each of the steps, I think that's very useful for first timers), and put in the order of the metals, washer and lock nuts in the exact orders, else you'll have problem with the front wheel. The longest step, which I wasn't expecting, was installing the seat assembly into the bike's frame. The plastic tube in the bike frame was a little thick so it took me a while to finally able to insert the seat into that tube. I'm not sure if that's a defect, but i think that plastic tube is needed to make sure the seat is tight so that it won't receded down when I sit on it. About the electric bike's riding experience itself, I think this is my favorite electric bike/bicycle that I owned so far (I have a mountain bike, another electric clown bike). It's super comfortable and easy to ride this. Even though its wheels are only 14 inches in diameter which makes this electric bike looks pretty small, however, once sitting on its seat, it feels very natural and almost like a cruiser type of bike. The motor is pretty powerful, without pedaling, I can go from 0 to 19 MPH in about 12 seconds, and the ride is very smooth and the handles are stable. It has dual brake controls for both front and rear wheel, making it steadier when braking, especially during a hard brake. The built-in front light is also very bright, and covers a large area in front of my bike without any dark spots. There's also a built-in electric horn that's noticeably loud but not too obnoxious. The only thing I wish for this electric bike's improvement is to have a built-in lock to make it more convenience, for now I bring a long an electric disc-brake lock to lock it when I have to park it somewhere for a quick stop.     • trouble on toyland I bought two bikes as birthday gifts for my kids, and they are bust.

The media could not be loaded. They are cute bikes, but I’m having a bad experience myself. After going through the process of problem-solving why the brakes were running into the rotor and having to play bike repair man myself for an entire day and still not 100% resolving the problem. I finally finished one of two bikes. I went to test it turned it on the front headlight came on. The rear tail light came on. I went to check the motor turn the accelerator on and turn. The throttle tire began to move and then I heard a popping sound and the lights went off and the tire stopped moving , indicating electrical shortage somewhere in the bike. The second bike, I couldn’t even get the front tire on because the front fork was bent probably through no fault of the manufacturer as the box was damaged, but it didn’t appear damaged enough to cause the wheel to not go on , but the last that was the case I couldn’t even get it seated in the fork enough problem solved so I have two defective bikes and now I’m hoping that Jasion Will stand behind the A-to-Z guarantee and send me return labels for their bikes so that I can re-order new ones maybe I’ll step up to the EB7 or the EB5 and give them a second chance. but I first started trying to contact them two days ago and only got one response asking for a video which I’ve attached above and I still haven’t heard back from them with an acceptable resolution. Also, they asked to move the conversation off of Amazon into their Customer support email which they didn’t even provide me with they told me to look in the manual for. My recommendation is that if you have a seller that wishes to continue A conversation regarding a return with a potential large Shipping cost. Keep the conversation on Amazon so that there is a record of it for the A-to-Z guarantee. Otherwise you might get burned. As I stated above, I bought these for my kids birthdays, and now I don’t even have anything to give them because I can’t ruin their surprise by saying what I would’ve had for them. ... show more

I bought this for my daughter to use around campus. I unboxed it and put it together with minimal effort. Truth to be told I’m fairly handy and have my own ebike. I couldn’t believe the how much power and how smooth it rides. I test rode it after assembly for safety reasons. I’m 6’3” 240lbs it hauled me around no problems. Obviously I’m a big boy a pushing the limit of capacity of this bike. I am extremely impressed with this bike for build quality and ease of assembly for the price you can’t go wrong. ... show more

This bike looks great and is very fun to ride. The pedal assist took a minute to get used to but makes climbing hills much easier. I also like that it has 3 speeds of electric power so I can put it on 1 for my kids to ride and 3 for me. It was also very easy to put together.
