The Janome Memory Craft 14000 is the latest combined sewing and embroidery model. The Memory Craft 14000 has many of the features found on our top of the line Memory Craft 15000 for sewing, embroidery, quilting and craft work and shares the same extra-large work area, and it is capable of embroidery couching! The built-in embroidery system is the same as the MC15000 and is the most stable ever developed ensuring embroidery perfection! With a 17.3” bed and 11 inch right of the needle, this machine has plenty of space for those big projects. It is packed full of powerful yet easy to use features including AcuFeed Flex and can stitch at up to 1,000 SPM in 9mm wide stitches and with the option of 91 needle positions.     • Great Machine but you need embroidering knowledge
I've had this machine for almost 6 months, This is my 5th embroidery machine (which I still have three ) and it works great. I'm an experienced machine embroider and just wanted a bit larger hoop, I've owned a Janome Memory Craft 10001 for twelve years and it is still sewing and embroidering like it did the day I took it out of the box. Other than wanting a little larger hoop, I did not want to pay another $5000 plus for anotehr sewing /embroidery machine. If you are a new machine embroiderer, you cannot just buy an embroidery machine and start sewing without doing a lot of research about formats and stabilizers and correct thread and design sizes vs the hoops the machine has. This machine is a great machine but does require a bit of embroidering knowledge to perform at its best. ... show more

    • Extremely dissatisfied with this machine
JANOME 400E I purchased this machine in August and I am seriously disappointed with it. For the first 6 weeks it worked alright . After then it caused nothing but trouble. It would drop stitches, then pull thread to the bottom. I was unable to contact the seller so talked to repair people. I contacted Sew & Vac Direct, they had numorous suggestions & I tried them all & finally they asked me to send it to them which I did. I got it back by the end of October, however I had several holiday orders that didn't require much embroidery so Through November & December I didn't use it much. I made 1square last week & the next square the machine did several stitches and began pulley thread to the bottom. I cleared out everything & everywhere and then let it sit for 3 days. I then made 1 square and it did a good job, the next square it wouldn't work again ! This is what it has been doing most the whole time I have had it . I am so frustrated at his point I would like to throw this machine against the wall but since I am physically unable to do that, I am forced to pursue other avenues I am spending time on the internet & the phone while I want to be sewing !!. I have used Janome machines for 8 years & won't consider any other brand. However this particular machine is a LEMON!! I would like to return this machine . I don't expect full refund, but I feel I shold be able entitled to at least half of what it cost for all the trouble Ihave had. ... show more

This was the first embroidery i chose that came programmed in the machine. It did not sew out very well. I even went over it a second time. That improved some areas and made others worse. I bought some designs online which have worked very well since trying this one.

    • Mad wife....It doesn’t work!
This machine does not work. I sent it back! Nothing I tried worked. It skips stitches, and the designs are skewed. I’m an experienced embroiderer, and had a similar Janome. This sucks!
