  • Worth ever penny!
I am a very experienced sewer. This machine has been a dream right out of the box . Item came as promised on time and no flaws. I had up and running within minutes. I am in love not a single problem.

  • Great sturdy machine
I really like this product. I want to start with what I really didn't like first though. The shipping experience was not the best. It came and the box was damaged. The machine had been threaded but due to shipping I had to start from scratch to thread it. The threads were a tangled mess inside the box. The machine itself is great. Its fairly easy to thread. The tension settings are straightforward including a diagram that shows different tensions. Compared to my serger, this machine is so still while it is sewing. It doesnt shake the entire table. It does take some practice to get the garment off, pulling the needle threads down and out so they can be snipped. This was my first coverstitch machine, and its been easier to learn than my serger. • Perfection in everyway!
I absolutely LOVE this machine! I typically buy Babylock or Bernina (all my other machines). All I had to do is take out of the box, grab a scrap and start coverstitching and the stitches are perfection! It's is very sturdy and smooth while sewing. I love, love, love it! Now I can really enjoy sewing my own garments. My current serger I have to keep switching from serging to coverstitch and it is a total pain. Worth every penny ❤ ... show more

  • Its great, but it has its shortcomings.
Im a fashion designer, and I use this machine to hem my knits and do top stitches on knit garments that I make for myself. Heres my review: This machine is great for hemming. I bought it because I was tired of the ruffled hems I was getting on my standard machine (even after buying a walking foot). I was very leery about this purchase, as its really expensive, but after using it the first time, I was happy I bought it. This machine is great for top stitching! I use it to top stitch waistbands and necklines, and its beautiful! The machine is great for chain stitch! My standard machine was shipped, and USPS broke it, so when it was out of commission I had no way to do simple straight stitches, I was easily able to convert this machine, and now I exclusively use my serger and this for everything. Though I still plan to get my standard fixed. The machine is not intimidating, well it is, but once you use it, you'll love it! Its so easy to use, and easy to figure out (read your manual!). Threading is SUPER easy! hands down, my easiest machine. What I dont like: The foot is not see through, so it makes it hard to do top stitching and things like that. With this price tag, the machine really should come with a clear foot. I dont even see the purpose in that big metal foot! At first I thought people were being dramatic in this complaint, but I can confirm, its a PITA! I also hate that the binding foot is $200! Why make this machine costs so much if its gonna costs an extra $300 to use it. Most people buy this with the intention of binding, you'll need another $200 for that! When I sew through elastic, I have a hard time. This may be user error, but it just doesnt seem to pick up thread through thick stretchy fabrics. This happened to me with bra straps I was attempting to reconstruct. It happened again when I was sewing through a thick elastic waistband. IDK what to make of it. I will update after more use. ... show more

  • Easy to use.
I waited years to buy this Coverstitch machine. I love it. I don’t use it a lot but it makes a beautiful stitch when needed. Simple to thread too. Not much of a learning curve which surprised me.
