1. Correct size for an EDC bag or a personal item bag for budget airlines. The outside pocket does not protrude forward too much away from the main body of the bag. The straps are padded and wide enough to keep the bag closer to the body. 2. The fabric feels soft and the zippers work well. The seams around them are even, so there is no catch. The inside fabric is pretty and feminine vs the no nonsense look of the outside. The fabric is supple and smooth so my nails will not snagged it. 3. I have an xlg backpack from Vera Bradley before and it still works fine. I just need a smaller backpack for budget airlines. I just don’t trust those $25-$45 bags. I have been waiting until this one came down from $125 to its current price. I used for the first time yesterday, got caught in the rain. I have never worried too much with my other bags, but this time, it was totally soaked. The bag is good for sunny days only.😀 ... show more

This is the best backpack - you will never want another backpack after this. I have zero complaints. The straps are super comfortable and the bag has many pockets and compartments, including a laptop pocket that I use for notebooks because it keeps its shape and nothing is ever bent. I use this as a diaper/mom bag and love it so much I got one for my elementary aged daughter. I am not a fan of the typical colorful designs, and got this for myself in the ivy green and my daughter got a light blue (and the bag is neutral enough my husband feels completely comfortable carrying it around). However, the zippers are feminine and the interior floral pattern is beautiful. I can't recommend this bag enough. I wish I had it years ago when my first child was born. ... show more
