Basic mechanical machine, light weight, easy to use, not too many bells and whistles for a beginner. I am an advanced seamstress, but this is exactly what I wanted to carry to my sewing group. It’s my favorite sewing machine now! Janome makes the best machines, imo.

I really like this machine alot. Previously I had another brand machine and it only lasted me a few months whereas this one you can just tell is of great quality. It is very beginner friendly in my opinion! I would recommend it to anyone.
