I literally requested a return of this item because I didn’t know it came in two pieces. So just know that. It’s the perfect size for my sunroom. It has pretty cool features like flame and heat levels. The screen and flames are truly a neat visual. The heat element is strong enough and definitely permeates through. So I say to the vendor, forget the return, I’m keeping this, thank you! To those considering this product, it’s a good height, very tasteful and decor on top doesn’t heat up. I have to say this fireplace was well designed. It feels very sturdy. Many times you buy something like this and it is wobbly and doesn't fit together exactly right. This product is the exact opposite. I am 59 years old with a lot of health issues so I was worried about my ability to put it together successfully. I am happy to say the instructions were very well written and easy to follow. The only issue I had was one of the two boxes was very heavy. I struggled to drag it into the house and into the den. I recommend having help to get that box moved where you are going to put it together. Excellent product! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I gave this product 3 stars because it is missing 8 important screws (see video/pics). I had to use my own screws to hold it together. Pros/cons *yes, color is an ugly yellow color but can be easily spray painted to any color you like. I knew the color before purchasing because of the reviews. I am okay with it. *very easy to put together once all the pieces are there. * from reading the reviews I see the pieces arrive separately. I am still waiting on the insert fire place part. It’s been 3 days so far. *Update: I got the insert in 5 days *customer service is very responsive *looks great ... show more

I never thought I would own an electric fireplace because they always look so fake. While the logs may not look real, the flames themselves are beautiful and I love the small size of this unit with all the wood-like detail. I read the reviews and saw it is a milky ivory color, not bright white, and also that the mantle does not match the frame in color. So I bought this ready to paint it the same white as the molding in my livingroom. I needed to sand and put two coats on, which took most of the day but I'm happy with the result! It does warm the room and definitely adds ambience. I paid my handyman to assemble it for me so I cannot speak to that part. ... show more

Putting it together was easy and it's extremely beautiful once finished. It doesn't get too hot although I wish it could get warmer there are only two heat settings. If you're looking to make your house look cozy for this winter this works.

I love how realistic the flames look! High heat is very warm! Bought it for a friend and she absolutely loves it. Perfect size for her room in an assisted living facility! Makes it feel a bit more cozy!
