I've been cutting my own hair for about 25 years. I started using a cheap set of Conair clippers that cost about $20 back in the day. Once those finally wore out, I snagged another pair for nearly the same price- maybe $5 more. That's a lot of money saved each year for decades. I cut my hair, and have been cutting my son's hair too. I always hated how the cable gets in the way- especially while having him sit in a chair on the tile floor near an outlet- but worked around it and got the job done. These showed up in my recommendations and I decided to give them a try on the off chance they'd make doing hair cuts a bit easier. We've come a long way since the early cordless shavers, and now evidently rechargeable lithium batteries can power clippers and last long enough to get the job done... I'll start with the clippers, the main draw here: OMG I am blown away by the clippers! These are so much more comfortable to use because I'm not having to be chained to an outlet! I was expecting to need to charge the clippers again after using them, or worry about needing the cable partway through. I cut my hair over the course of maybe 15-20 minutes and it was still fully charged! Battery life is insanely good! I can do my son's hair too, and probably both of ours several more times over the next several months without even having to worry about the charge. Time will tell how long it lasts, and I'll report back if/when it stops holding a charge. Worst case, I have to use a cable at some point, or charge it along the way, but we should get many years out of this in our family. It comes with LOTS of guards, so you're sure to find one of the right length. Also included is a little oil bottle- Once that's gone I'll probably switch to Ballistol, as I usually have that on hand. The trimmer works great- I will note the guard size is a bit different. I was used to using a number 5 (5/8" or 16mm) guard on my old clippers. I'm glad I thought to look before slapping the number 5 on these. To get the same size (again 5/8" or 16mm) I had to find the number 7 guard. No big deal- just something to be mindful of- they are clearly labeled for their actual size too, so don't just look at the guard number till you're used to it. Same for the ear guards- they are inverted from my old ones. Along as you pay attention to the small side being down and large side up top and not the wording, you'll be fine. I'm always paranoid about getting that mixed up anyway, as I go back to front around the ear, and then front to back on the opposite side. Haven't messed up in all this time, so- just keep paying attention to the correct side being up. One more thing that threw me at first was how the clippers adjust- it's a smooth up and down sliding lever, as opposed to clicks that lock it into whatever position. It doesn't really matter as long as it stays where I leave it- I suppose after 25 years of clicking a lever to set the blade where I want it I'm just used to the old way of doing it. It's not like me being off by a mm really matters as long as it stays the same throughout the haircut- so no gripes there. If you're on a super tight budget, the old-fashioned clippers that chain you to an outlet are a good way to go and will get the job done, but if you want to be free of that cable and have some flexibility, you'll still be saving money long-term with these, and can cut hair outdoors or anywhere. The nose hair trimmers were a bust for me. I've used cheaper ones that came with my old kit, powered by AA batteries- functioned better, but even so, nothing beats rounded tip scissors. The electric shaver- does ok. Maybe better for cleaning up a 5 o'clock shadow. It did fine on my cheeks, but struggled on the neck. I will stick with my old-fashioned safety razor- BUT- the slide up clipper was great at trimming sideburns, so it's handy for that. I'm not currently sporting a beard so can't really speak to the beard trimmer, but it appears well made too. All have a sleek design, and an invisible window for displaying the battery life. That's pretty cool. Overall, for the price of a couple/few haircuts you get a nice set of clippers and some accessories you may or may not use, but you'll definitely be saving money in the long run. Even without using the other accessories, this is an incredible advancement that I wasn't sure was possible. Add to that they've since put a digital coupon on this to drop the price to $50.99 makes it even better. That savings, and especially finally being free from a cable makes this a great deal, so I definitely recommend.

The main clippers cut smoothly and evenly without pulling hair. The foil shaver gives a close finish that is comfortable to use, and the T-blade trimmer handles clean lines and detail work with no problem. My favorite piece might be the nose trimmer, which makes quick work of stray hairs without any painful tugging. All the guards snap on securely, and I tried nearly every size for beard shaping and haircuts without a single issue. Battery life has been excellent. Because grooming sessions do not take long, each tool lasts weeks on a single charge. I like that they all have a display showing battery percentage, which means you will not end up halfway through trimming and run out of power. This kit is quiet, easy to clean, and includes everything you need for at-home grooming or travel. The carrying case keeps it all neat and protected. My only wish is that every tool used the same USB-C charger. The main trimmer uses a different connector, and the polished metal finish look (it’s actually plastic) shows fingerprints easily, though that is expected with this style. Overall, this feels like a barbershop-quality set that is versatile enough for beards, head shaving, and even fine detail work. For personal use or as a gift, it delivers a lot of value and is built to last.

The media could not be loaded. I have to say that I cannot believe this set is only $80, and right now it has a $30 coupon, making it only $50!!! This entire set is super high quality. Each piece feels sleek and smooth in your hand complete with little nooks and knobs for finger and thumb rests. If is very clear that whomever designed these thought of everything. They all have a digital led screen. They all come 100% charged and ready to use immediately out of the box. These shavers and clippers, could be used by a professional, and they can do a complete job with these tools from a haircut to body shaving to edging and trimming to nose and ears. This set comes with a very nice hard case and a barbers cape. It comes with oil too, the shaver shaved, so smooth. You can’t feel any stable at all. The battery holds up quite well. You don’t have to charge it very often. It comes with a bunch of guide combs. you can literally do any style with this set. It’s waterproof so you can even do it in the shower. You can throw away any other piece of barber equipment you have and keep just this one set which packs up nicely in this very nice hard case I seriously can’t believe it’s only $50 right now. It’s clearly worth twice that if you’re looking at it and wondering I recommend you buy it now before the price goes up oh it also comes with a two year warranty and 24 hour customer service. this would also make a wonderful gift by itself. Buy it now before they sell out!!!

I've used each component of the cordless set for a week now, and so far very pleased. Each one has sharp blades that gets the job done. They are relatively quiet running, especially in comparison with my older plug-in ones. I particularly like the nose hair trimmer because you don't hear all the hair crunching as it's clipped, which is a freaky sound in my old trimmer. The Shaver gives a close, clean finish. The only place I had problems was around the loose skin on my neck. Holding the skin taut while shaving helped. The instruction booklet is easy to read and understand. The stainless-looking finish on each component is very professional looking but fingerprints easily show on them. One feature that is particularly helpful is the illuminating gauge that shows how much charge is left while and after using. The shaver has 2 RPM speeds but I couldn't tell a lot of difference between them. I appreciated all of the nice extras included: maintenance oil, barber cape, fabulous zippered storage case, and cleaning brush. (You'll find these stored underneath plastic shell that holds the main tools.) All in all, I think you get a lot for your money in both quality and quantity for the price.
