I like this beard oil because it feels light, gives a shine, and has a fresh smell I like. The only thing that stops me from using it all the time is the price is to rich for my blood because I have a longer beard and use about 4-5 squirts each use (1oz doesn’t seem to last long) I also like Maestro’s, mark of a man, scent beard oil. I've not tried any other premium beard oils, but by comparison to stuff like Honest Amish or Naked - this product is vastly superior. It goes on easy and dries very quickly, pleasant smell, doesn't leave a residue on your hair or skin. Leaves your beard feeling soft and makes the hair a bit more manageable/less frizzy. I've got a short beard, maybe 2 - 3 inches of hair. It's worth a try if you've got the cash, even if to just get an idea of what good beard oil behaves like. ... show more

I bought this stuff a year ago and just ran out. A tiny amount works really well and smells fantastic. I didn't want to spend so much this time, so I bought a 2oz bottle (twice as much) of Honest Amish for $9 (this is nearly 3x as much) I immediately regret that decision. I had never used anything but Jack Black, so I didn't realize how good it was. The Honest Amish smells like licorice and works like half as good. I have used some thicker oils that do not spread as well. This is thinner and has a pleasant melon scent. I spreads easily to get good coverage. It does leave some oily residue on the hands that you really have to wash with a lot of soap to get off.

Only the best for this guy!! This is the product. I keep a short beard and this works perfect for me. If you have a really long beard I could imagine this becoming expensive after prolonged use.
