Most of the accessories are inside the headboard. The assembly and instructions are dummy proof. Honestly, one of the easiest things we've ever put together. Even easier than other home assembly brands like items that come from the big blue box store. It comes with a socket style Allen wrench. The wrench tool has made assembly a cinch. My husband even said it's epic. It won't be a tool we trash at the end. It will be added to our tool box. The slats are velcro on. We had to pull on both sides of the bed in a few areas to get them to fit down in. Overall, having two people available to help makes the job fast. The headboard itself is a shiny white fabric. My little one is thrilled with it. Now we just have to figure out what to do with the box spring since this bed doesn't require one.

The bed base is very nice! The headboard is made of a nice material that is soft to the touch. The assembly of the bed frame was super easy. Comes with nice IKEA style instructions that make everything a breeze to put together. Also came with a nice small wrench that made the assembly much easier. The headboard area seemed to be a bit on the flimsy side but once the bed was placed on it, it became vert sturdy! overall very nice bed frame when on a budget.
