I'm quite happy with this cabinet, and it was the perfect size for my need. While it is slim and doesn't hold a ton, it's enough to help get smaller items organized. It has two adjustable shelves, though I'm not sure about my confidence for them to hold too much weight, so judge accordingly. I'm using mine for pet supplies, so it works good for my use. This unit is a pain to build - you have been warned. It was a lot more pieces than I anticipated and took me close to an hour to put it together myself. A few notes for anyone who chooses to buy this unit - do Step 20 BEFORE step 18. Step 20 is mounting the doors and the instructions have you doing it with the unit standing upright and after the adjustable shelves are in place. This is practically impossible. Do yourself a favor and lay it down on it's side, mount the doors, then stand it back up and put the shelves in. Also, step 25 is confusing - this is the final step of the instructions. It seems to imply that you slide the drawer part way in and then install the stoppers so the drawer doesn't fall out when pulled. This is tricky, because the drawer being in place limits your space. Do yourself a favor - install the stoppers first and then angle the drawer under the stoppers as you slide it in. Easy peasy. ... show more

It took me about six hours to build since I have a bad back, and had to do it mostly sitting down and on my lap, except the door hinges which requires placing the whole cabinet on the floor and on the side to really place them in the hole and be able to tighten them up. Overall, the instructions were decent and it was relatively easy to build, and at the end it came up surprisingly sturdy, except for the two last shelves that float on metal cabinet holders that are poorly designed and loose (see last picture attached) that fell off when I moved the cabinet to the desired spot in my bathroom, and because of this minor hiccup which is not a deal breaker as it can be solved by adding glue to the holes, I will have to give it a 4.5 stars out of 5 stars, otherwise a good affordable option which looks good and holds a lot of stuff. In regards to the smell that most reviewers complaint about, I left it in the shipping box for a couple of days until the weekend and there was no stench, and the little smell it had like fresh painted wood, dissipated after a couple of days. ... show more

This cabinet is so easy to put together, great for small areas. The doors close nicely, not soft close but still good, and great for organization. I am using this for my laundry room storage, and it’s the perfect solution. Nice little cabinet, sturdy & looks really good. Absolutely no odor/off gassing that others have mentioned. Not hard to put together, but very time consuming. We got it for our laundy room. It's so small that it is limited as to what it holds, but we had limited space. If you have room for the 15" wide one, I'd recommend that. While this was very easy to build this cabinet is NOT sturdy at all, it does wobble, and the ack board support is very cheap. Overall, itv was tool late to return so I kept it until I can purchase a much more sturdy one.
