    • These work great! Too easy and install takes only 5 minutes.

These install in 5 minutes. No need to use studs (unless you have kids that might try and pull the guitar down). Otherwise these hold great with the drywall anchors. Here is what to do if you do not own a drill, which I own several but there is no need to even use one. Simply pick a spot on your wall where you want to hang it and mark where the holes go. Then pound a nail through the wall where you made the two marks. Next, hammer a standard sized phillips head screwdriver through the holes made with the nails. Then I rounded off those holes with the screwdriver (do this by moving the screwdriver in a circular motion. Be sure to not make the holes too big or there will be a wiggle and that is bad because you want it to be a snug fit. The holes should be smaller than your drywall anchors so that they have something to grab on to. Once the hole is the correct size screw in your drywall anchors and then screw in the guitar hangar using included screws. Installed both mine in five minutes. People who complain about the wiggle made their holes way too big for the drywall anchors. So be sure not to do that, just keep checking to see if they will screw in before making the hole bigger. You really DO NOT NEED a big hole. If you do this it will be just like using a stud. Unless someone yanks on the guitar then its gonna come tumbling down! Hope you have a fantastic day! ... show more

These were easy to install but require careful measurement to get the mounting holes in the wall just right. I did not use the plastic anchors it came with, though I’m sure they would be ok. I opted for heavier duty metal screw in drywall anchors. Otherwise these hangers look and work very well!

Overall, these guitar hangers were exactly as advertised. They seem to be strong. The drywall anchors are solid. However, I'm hanging a couple electric guitars, which are 14-15 lbs, so I would feel better if the kit came with toggle bolts instead of drywall anchors. If I ever have any issues or additional concern, I may swap them out later, but for now, everything is hanging just fine. ... show more

This holder is perfect. My bass is not super heavy as 5-strings go but it is a 5-string bass with a one-piece swampash body. I get very nervous with any stand or holder because of the weight. I was able to anchor this perfectly and it is solid as a rock. I highly recommend this product.
