  • Everything I've needed in a dock
Style: Without Power Adapter
Since getting my ROG Ally I've tried several different docks. And while each one has been a decent improvement over the previous, this one is finally the one I've been looking for. The biggest positive of using this dock is that you do not need to remove your protective case for it to fit. That is a major issue I've had with pretty much every other dock. It's so nice just being able to connect and remove my Ally without having to worry about the case. Second, this folds up nice and compact. It's nice and rectangular and isn't stuck in an awkward shape. The cable is detachable (also a huge bonus) and easily fits inside the dock when folded up. Speaking of the cable, it is super sturdy, almost a little too stiff at first. But after you use it a few times, it's easy to manage. The lights are bright and you can have them rotate through the colors, have a single static color, or turn them off completely. I don't personally care for RGB lights, but I know it's something a lot of people like, so it's a good inclusion. The dock also comes with some thumbstick caps for your analog sticks. Nothing fancy, but they do the job, and it's a nice little bonus. Where this dock really shines though, are all the ports. The first couple of docks I had were equipped with a single USB C port for power input, a couple of USB A ports, an ethernet and an HDMI. Enough really to get by, but hardly everything you could want. This dock has pretty much every port you could ask for and a couple more. The SD card reader isn't the fastest ever, but if you're just transferring files, or playing older games off of it, it works great. I can't think of anything else I could want or need out of a dock. This pretty much checks all the boxes and I'm loving it. ... show more

  • Powerful, for multiple gaming devices
Style: Without Power Adapter
This is a great convertible dock, especially if you have multiple gaming devices that you want to use on one TV or monitor. It has a plethora of features designed to meet all your knees when it comes to your hand held mobile gaming device. I use it for my Lenovo Legion go and my steam deck and so far I have not had any issues. It works great. I really appreciate all the different ports as it’s designed to meet your every need. Also, I really like the SD card reader on the side for extra storage when you need it. I tested them both and they work without fail. One of the best features I like about it is the ease in set up and the speed that you can get gaming. I played on my TV with my Lenovo for several hours and I didn’t experience any significant heat meaning the device in my opinion as well made and solid. One side note that kinda bothered me is I feel that at this price point it should’ve come with a power supply which is not included. Maybe I’m just being picky. You can use the one that comes with your gaming device however, I feel like for this price point a basic 100W power supply should be included. it does come with a USB cable, but not the power brick. Other than that, this gaming dock works perfectly in my opinion. ... show more

  • Solid ROG looking Docking Station 4K 120Hz works perfectly
Style: Without Power Adapter
The iVANKY docking station works perfectly with my Steam Deck OLED, delivering as advertised full 4K at 120Hz, something that some other docs sometimes don't meet. This dock also supports HDR and provides you HDMI, USB A at multiple speeds (see pic) and C ports and SD card readers, ethernet connectivity and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It's also nice that the USB cable to connect your handheld is also removable/replaceable. This dock does not include a power supply, so be sure that you already have one or use the one that came with your device, but the dock does pass power through to your device once it is connected to the dock. It also features full RGB color (it's rainbow), but I prefer to keep that off and fortunately there is a button on the top that can easily turn off the LED's if they are also not your style. I also like that there are rubber liners in the area where your handheld device sits which also helps prevent scuffs while keeping your device from sliding around while placed in the dock. No issues at all, it simply works with little effort in just connecting your cables, so if you want a fully capable dock for your Steam Deck OLED, this device is a great option. ... show more

  • HDMI Did not work.
Style: Without Power Adapter
I have tried every HDMI cord I own ever USB C cord I own. None of them have allowed the HDMI to function correctly. Everything else so far worked great but the biggest reason I purchased this dock because of the HDMI function. Will be returning for something else.

  • Very high quality, heavy duty, tons of features
Style: Without Power Adapter
I use this dock for my Rog ally x and I am really impressed with the build quality and all of the functions and ports that it features. There are ample usb A and usb C ports for as many devices and accessories as you’d ever need and the dock feels heavy and durable. The charging port supports up to 100watts which is more than enough power to keep the ally x charged, and there are even sd card slots on one side that you can use to transfer files or even play games from when the console is connected to the dock. The hdmi port allows you to play your device on your tv and the picture quality and speed is excellent. The added bonus of the rgb lighting makes the dock stand out and look really good in your gaming setup. I could do without the large logo on the front of the dock and would much rather see it in one of the bottom corners or on the backside, but that’s just my personal preference. Connection for the ally is as simple as putting the device on the base and plugging in the included short cable. Plug in an hdmi, a power adapter, and any other accessories you’d like to use, and you’re ready to game on your tv. The dock hasn’t gotten hot or warm to the touch and the only spot I ever feel any heat is from the charging port on the ally. ... show more
