One of the original rack covers was stolen. I ordered a new set. We put them on my 2006 forerunner cargo rack and it made the entire car look newer and cleaner! It looked just like it was an original part! Yes, I would purchase again!

I have a pristine Gen 4 4Runner. I have replaced these end caps 4 times. Decided to buy Touota OEM set but a set costs $652.28 plus tax and the Toyota dealer's parts manager said the factory ones have problems as well. The problem is that the tabs are too small and weak to withstand any impact or car wash. I solved the problem by using Permatex silicon gasket sealer around the edges. Done neatly it doesn't show, it'll withstand heat and cold, is pliable, and can be removed with Permatex silicon remover or simply using a razor knife. I've been a loyal Toyota owner for 31 years and couldn't be more pleased. But the price of these simple plastic parts is absurd. ... show more

Went with these due to positive reviews and to save money over OEM products. Also found someone had used them on a 4Runner owner forum and recommended it. They look good, but installing them was a pain. They should just be snap in and go but it wasn't that easy. I finally got both front caps to click in place, but the rears refused to stay. The retention tabs on the flat side of both rear caps snapped off with ease the first time I tried to install them. I also don't think they properly aligned with the mounting points on the rear as I could see the plastic protruding outward right where the tab should lock into the base on the flat side. After they broke on the first one I tried to install, I noticed that the tabs are longer on the flat side (faces inward) than the rounded side. I tried to put the longer tabs in first and then gently put the other side in. The tabs on the flat side still broke off with minimal pressure. I ended up using JB Weld for plastic to put them on. ... show more

    • Easy to install and it looks so much better.

We just added a little adhesive before attaching them to ensure they wouldn’t come off. We also spray painted the bars that had some slight paint chipping. It made all the difference in the world!
