This is a great portable thermal printer. It was easy to set up with the app. It prints fairly quickly and it's quite crisp. I really like the portability of it, too. It charges pretty quickly, so then you can take it where you need to, and then set it up where you need it. It doesn't take up much space. Very good little machine.

I never thought of having a portable machine to make changes on the go but this thing is great for that. When a client wants the tattoo a bit bigger or something added/removed this enables me to just do that on the fly and its been kind of a game changer. I haven't had any issues other than a few connection problems but those seemed like maybe they were operator error or issue with my tablet maybe. Overall this thing is cool and definitely getting some use.

You should be able to connect to a printer and go but still after decades they don't work that way. First I connected this to my iMac via bluetooth but it wouldn't show up under Printers it would disconnect. Tried USB direct connect but it still wouldn't see this as a printer. They don't give you a driver but not sure I want to install software like that anyway. But editing and printing something like this should be on a good qualified system. But I digressed. So I tried my iPhone since the barcode is right on the top of the printer. Fortunately their app is in the App Store so relatively safe. Can't make any page adjustments so tried to print what was there. On top of the printer it shows an image with the words "this side should face up" but which side is that? And it printed slightly off cue. But worse it stuck at the last inch. No eject or continue print had to pull it out which ruined the paper. The app doesn't give you any options to see how it will print. I got a tiny image about 2 inches wide. On top of that, they give you no information on how to use the printed material. It's a big process especially preparing the skin to apply the stencil. All I wanted to do is try a tattoo and see where I wanted and what it would look like - my first one. But it's a lot of trouble so I need to research this more in depth especially printers and the material you will be applying to your skin.
