The instructions say this requires two people, but I'm a determined single mom and didn't want to call anyone, so I decided to risk doing it myself. I'm 5'2" and about 130 lbs. I'm pretty fit, but I have absolutely no experience building furniture. I was able to assemble almost the entire bed by myself. I only needed my 9-year-old son's help for a few minutes to get the loft bed raised onto the legs. It took me about 6 hours total, with small breaks here and there. The instructions were a little frustrating at times because I had to figure out exactly how the screw holes lined up, but I took my time and followed the directions. I did make a mistake or two, but the instructions specifically warn you not to completely tighten all the screws until the end, and that made correcting my mistakes very easy. Once I realized something wasn't lining up, it was usually obvious that I had the wrong piece or had something turned the wrong way. All of the pieces eventually fit correctly. I only needed one tool that wasn't included: a hammer. I used it to help wedge the slats into place. Once the bed is secured to the wall, it is VERY sturdy and secure. I would definitely recommend securing it to the wall. Before doing that, it could move a little and squeak, but once it was secured, I haven't had that concern. This is for my 9-year-old son, who is about 4'6" and 70 lbs. He absolutely loves it! The desk is great and has plenty of space. He uses the built-in plugs to charge his tablet, which is really convenient. The drawers are sturdy enough for lighter items—he keeps his T-shirts, underwear, and socks in them. The LED lights are also a nice touch. He uses them as a night light, and he really likes having them. There's plenty of room for him to stand underneath the bed, and he has enough headroom on top to sit up and raise his arms a little without hitting the ceiling. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. Considering the price and everything you get—bed, desk, storage, drawers, lights, and charging outlets—I think it's a great value. The assembly took some patience, but it was absolutely manageable, even for someone with no furniture-building experience. I expect this bed to last him for years.

This bed is not complicated to build, you have to take the time and make sure you put the parts in the correct way, yes, it took me a long time, that's because I had the parts wrong, all the parts was there, and all the holes was there as well, you have to take your time and be careful with instructions. This was a beautiful bed, a beautiful bed, and my 8 year old loved it amazing bed. It was worth putting it up for them, 6 hours that I spent. I definitely recommend anybody with a child this bad and this look like it would be a wonderful team bed as well very spacious desk very spacious staircase this is a beautiful bed unfortunately it does not fit in my daughters room so I have to return it back to the seller if I did have enough space in my daughters room I promise you I would keep this for her for a lifetime because it's definitely sturdy is good quality it's just so much good I could say this is not no advertisement this is a true review from Cleveland Ohio that I would definitely recommend this bed and the seller is so kindly and so nice to actually accept my return which I am so blessed for that and I appreciate this sellerand I promise you, if you put and read the you put and read the instructions bed,correctly, this bed could be put together correctly, you have to really pay attention, because I was the same way, and it was a few parts that I had to flip it, and it helped. And it was so helpful for those whose have reviews about this bed, saying that the parts was wrong in the screws, or the pieces was in the wrong place. And yes I was one of the customers reading the reviews very if the about ordering this bed because there was a mix for views and then I was a little paranoid as I was fixing this bed but as I went on to fixing the bed through the paranoia of the mixed reviews that I was seeing I just realized that you have to really take time to actually carefully look at the directions and read the directions but everything was there there was no parts missing or anything just because of my paranoia I thought that there was parts missing but if you actually take time and read the numbers you will see that the only thing was the stairs was labeled wrong, but if you pay attention to the instructions, because it's so well drawn out the instructions, you shouldn't have any problems with putting it together.

Did I love the bed? Yes I did!! The instructions were clear and the bed is pretty stable. It’s super convenient for saving space in my small room. However the reason why I didn’t rate it 5 stars is because two of the parts it came with had the holes in the wrong places resulting in uneven surfaces. So in order to fix that I had to drill in new holes so the #1 the desk is straight and even. And #2 the top stair step as well. If I tried to use the original holes it came with then my desk would’ve been completely off and not straight and the top stair step would be tilted weirdly resulting in being unable to even walk up to the bed. I did managed to work around this and I love how it all came out! Just wished the parts all came with no problems. It was very hard to drill those holes straight through metal.

My 6 year old daughter loves her bunk bed. It is her “dragon loft”. She feels safer on her bunk bed, she enjoys looking down on everyone who enter her room. She likes the table, the lights, the drawers and the steps. It makes her feel special and like she has her own exclusive place inside her room where only she can go. The assembly took longer than it should. Th instructions were ok but there are minor things that aren’t super clear from the pictures and we had a couple times where things were backwards. I do a lot of assembling so I am not at all a novice. I very much pay attention to detail but sometimes the pictures a too ambiguous. So it took a couple hours. I have assembled bunk beds before that took less than half the time. This is more elaborate but having to redo something because it wasn’t clear can be irritating. All in all, it looks nice, it is sturdy, and a decent value for your money.

I love the desk that’s under the bed it’s nice and long plenty of space for my stuff the drawers are a little bit smaller then I expected but the quality of them is great and I can still fit stuff in them so that’s ok and the stairs are a bit narrow for me but I can still go up and down them just fine so it’s ok. I love the LED light strip that’s under the bed part it looks so cool and lights up my desk area perfectly. It definitely takes more than one person to put it together tho, I had my mom help me it was fun but also tiring lol. And my cat loves it too

Listen I love the look of this. However, the instructions are a pain and super confusing. The bed itself isn’t difficult to put together it’s just the instructions to do so make it difficult. Took me 6 hours with another person. However, it’s great. Bit bigger than I initially thought but works in my room. I can fit my reptile tanks underneath it and the desk is sturdy enough for me to trust having a tank on it.

If you’re complaining about the hole alignment, you did it wrong. 😆 This was one of the more challenging things I’ve assembled, but the instructions are very clear about making sure the holes are aligned as down in the pictures. I had three that I had to go back and readjust, and it was a pain in the butt, but that was because I had them wrong. Once I fixed them, everything lined up perfectly. So give yourself plenty of time and triple check the holes as you’re building. If something isn’t lining up later, go back and check your work before assuming the bed is the problem. It’s an absolutely awesome bed and my daughter is thrilled with it. Totally worth the assembly headache.

UPDATE: All the screws are still tight and havent come loose, 3 months later. Just a tip, if you want to disassemble the bed, and when you reach the top bed, first remove the bars that hold the mattress up. See picture 5. (Also some caps are harder than others to take out, so you mught need maybe pliers or a fork, but please be careful 🙏) OLD REVIEW: Its just like the picture. However some things as tips for you. Dont be quick to be alarmed if you are building and can't find pieces. For me, some poles were inside of other bigger poles. So, check that first. When building, do as they say and DONT tighten the screws so much UNTIL you are finished. Make sure you have the holes positioned the right way, ALWAYS check because I made a mistake over where the draws are at, but im too lazy to fix it (as seen in photo 4) For me, the two desk pieces didn't fit so well, again it could be because I made a tiny mistake with the bed pole and the desk pole but I dont know. I still made it kinda work by unscrewing those poles slightly and manuevering them. ---------But I also barely screwed down the desk because I had a hard time doing so, it doesnt move though. As you can see in pictures labeled 2 and 3 I made a mistake with the positioning of the holes. These are with the stair pieces and the holes need to be close to the floor and not close to the top. I also assembled this by myself and took breaks so it took me 12 hours, however with two (or more) people and less breaks you can get it done in way less. Maybe 4-6 hours. Overall the bed is quite sturdy, (i dont recommend two people or moving around a lot on the bed), and I recommend drilling it to the wall since they give you the option. I personally didn't because my heater prevents my bed from being close up to the wall. But I am extra careful not to move around so much. Just for reference I am 145 pounds and 5"3-4ish. My head is about 3-4 inches above where the bottom bed starts so I have to bend down slightly to get underneath the bed. But yeah so far so good, it comes with an outlet and LED lights as well. But be careful if you have a pet because my cat thinks this is a cat tree house 😂 ALSO the stair opening is quite narrow. My hips barely fit through it 😭 How humbling haha, but i can still get up. I will update you guys
