I purchased one set of these boxes to try them out and loved them so much that I purchased a second set. They come in packs of 20 and are flattened when shipped. I only needed one strip of tape on the bottom to secure it and make the box sturdy for storage. I would recommend more than one strip if used for shipping purposes. The boxes are 20 inches long and fit perfectly on a 6-foot tall by 4-foot wide metal rack that is 18 inches deep. It allows 4 boxes per shelf. When you fold the tops down inside the box, it will allow you 6 shelves on a 6-foot tall shelving unit, maximizing your space and giving you plenty of room to still reach in the box. The boxes are very sturdy. I can pull the boxes in and out of the shelves without causing any integrity loss of the box. They can hold a lot of weight as well.
