Like many others have said the customer service with iSpring is outstanding, I had several conversations with their tech staff prior to purchasing to be sure I bought the right product based on the water chemistry of my well water. I wanted to get a sediment filter that would filter my water as much as possible without water pressure loss so I started with 50 micron but that was just too much and I had a small but noticeable water pressure drop. I called Nick and he was very helpful and said they wanted to be sure that the product worked the best it could so he sent me a 100 and 200 micron filter at no charge! That way he said I could experiment with it until I found what worked best. I never give 5 star reviews because I almost never come across a company that deserves them, what a pleasant surprise. I also bought their Iron/manganese and carbon filter and I am just as please with it. ... show more

Bought the 50SL, but it kept clogging up about every month and we kept losing water pressure. The filtration and smell of the water was so much better that we didn’t care and just kept replacing the spindown filter. Finally called customer service and Nick helped us troubleshoot. Turns out, we should have been running 100 or 200. Nick sent us different filters. Now, we have great water smells, great water pressure, and no needless replacement. As a chemical engineer I know how a spin-down filter should work. When I read a review saying this product does not have spin-down effect, I didn't want to buy it but I am curious so I called ISpring customer service to learn more about it. Sean answered my call and helped me to understand how the product works. Maybe the spin-down name is a little misleading. For a residential house application, water flows only when water is used therefore when water flow stops the spin-down effect stops. It is the filter in the center that really filters the sediment out. Sean explained to me they have several different size filters to be used for this product and actually he sent me a 100 micron filter for me to test since the product comes with a 50 micron. Did my research on what was available that worked and that I could install. The spin-down filter was a must for me, to help make the filter cartridges last longer between changes. I had ordered the 50 microns by mistake. I emailed iSprings to see if I could order a 100 microns, I got a respond back with-in 2 days. A gentleman by the name of Nick was my contact, he was easy to work with and able to full-fill my request and sent out the items I was looking for. I would recommend this system. This thing is built very solidly. It will take a while to see which filter size I need (I bought 200 micron), as I'm not sure what constitutes the bulk of the sediment in my well. But Nick at customer support (answers the phone directly!) send me gratis the next larger and the next smaller mesh size in case I need to experiment with how oftern I need to flush or change the filter element.
