Love the mid century modern look and that I did not have to spend a fortune on the lamp. Fairly easy to put together, however, I wouldn't call this build super sturdy as the legs do wiggle a little when moving.

Looked at other lamps of this style at stores 50 bucks more . This was super easy to put together and looks fantastic !!!

    • Love the way it looks but…
This was pretty easy to put together, but the reason I gave it a 4 is that I have an issue with screwing the socket ring securely over the socket. It doesn’t screw down quite enough, it seems that the white metal rings are preventing it from screwing all the way in. So when I try to straighten the shade, the socket ring pops off. So at this point I have a crooked shade. As long as I keep it in the corner, it’s not too noticeable. I see some of the photos in the reviews appear to also have crooked shades, has anyone had this problem? I haven’t seen this mentioned, so I wonder if I did something wrong. The only other thing that happened was that one of the clips on the shade came away from the fabric while I was adjusting it, so you have to be careful.but the shade is still OK, no gaps. Other than that, I like it very much, the bulb is great, all 3 light levels work. I was going to return it, but for the price, it looks a lot nicer then some of the more expensive ones. ... show more

The pictures in the advertising do not show how many pieces the legs are but appear to show them as one solid piece. Misleading. Overall ok lamp but the legs don't look as good as the pictures.

When I saw this lamp pictured (and seeing it's dimensions), and reading further about it, I said to my self this will be perfect for the placement I had in mind; and now I'm thinking of returning it. The pluses that drew me to it, first was them using a quality lumber ( beech), a light bulb (that you can change Kelvin temperature (warm-cold)), and little things such as recessing the leg screw heads, Velcro straps to hold the line cord against a leg and it's not just dangling down from the lamp. They had quality in mind when designing and making the lamp. Plus when starting to assemble the legs, the fit was very good, basically no gap, hard to see the line, except for leg part B2 (pictured). Small chip from when it was cut, (nothing in the plastic sleeve it was in), small but it draws your eye. The other negative was the light switch chain, their picture shows it hanging away from the tripod stand, but it doesn't. Actually that was, as I said part of the deciding factor (it made it more elastically pleasing) of choosing this Isloys product. The other negative is there is no printed information to contact them. Their instruction manual gives warranty information but no contact information. I'll give them a little time to maybe reach out and contact me before sending this back. Not sure what they could do about the light socket and chain, but I'm sure they could send another B2 (middle leg part). Them being proactive to rectify a quality lapse would definitely make me raise my rating for their product. ... show more
