I bought two for my 14-year-old sons, who love this bike. Overall, they're very nice bikes, but too aggressive for me. What I don't like is when I turn on the assist, the bike goes 17 mph after four pedal strokes. It's practically impossible to ride slowly with the assist. If you want to go slowly, you'll have to use the throttle or not to use assist. Overall, the bike is beautiful, sturdy, and worth the money. Very powerful !

Bike came quick ,and was,nt to hard to assemble ,but the rack was a challenge trying to line up the wholes i think tge screws should,ve been longer ,and the wholes should,ve been centered more.overall good price and rides great.749$ battery is removable.

The controller display is like much more expensive bikes. All bikes I've looked at have distance and trip readout and pedal assist. This bike has mileage in 1/10th of a mile which I like, plus Volume and Current readouts. This bike not only has 5 levels of pedal assistance shown with 5 bars, but it also has "real time" pedal assist shown separately which is great for preserving battery life.

Let me begin with… I spent no less than 30 hours researching which e bike for my college senior son, who is 6’4 and 256 lbs. he lives where there are hills, and has a car, but on campus- an e bike is the ultimate convenience. I made a spread sheet- to compare allll the things- the motor, the battery, the weight Capacity, the height recommendations, the torque, the grade aptitude, the weight of the bike, personally we needed a non folding (for his size- we wanted more rigidity in the frame ) the mph, the mile range, the tire size, the frame length , step thru - you name it. And this bike, in this price point - knocked it outta the park. My son had been using it for about 9 days so far- and he absolutely loves it. He mentioned that it easily does the speed it promised- it handles well and he’s super happy. I did order a wider seated seat, before the bike came (the bike was delivered to him at school as a b day gift) and he accidentally forgot to take the good seat home- so he’s been “suffering” with the stock seat until he comes home for the better one next week… lol. He’s young, he’ll survive- but def change the seat out- and there you have it!

Bought this for my husband who is over weight, diabetic and sedentary! I didn't want to spend $2k on a bike shop bike and just wanted to see if he'd give it a try. He is 71 and hasn't been on a bike of any kind in over 50 years! HE LOVES IT!!! Macho man even wears a helmet!! Pros: Easy to assemble, easy to ride! Cons: Haven't found one yet!!

The bike is actually well made and I was impressed as I assembled it but it had the same problem that other people have had: when you use the electric assist, even on the lowest setting (PAS-1) the power comes on almost explosively and you go to full speed....it is DANGEROUS and DEFECTIVE!!!! You have to completely stop peddling and apply the brakes....if you peddle at all, even super slowly, the power is at full and propels you forward rapidly, it's so bad!!! I tried a simple test. in power level 1 I started to peddle very slow but as soon as you turn the peddle, BAM! The power hits at full and runs you up to 20mph and all you have to do is barely move the peddles and if the bike senses any peddle movement, it delivers full power to the motor and you fly down the road. Now get this: before purchasing this bike I read the reviews and saw a few people mention this issue. I contacted customer service (before I bought) and they returned my message with typical word-salad; lots of big words with assurance of quality, happiness, lucky-best technology but they didn't address my question. I replied with a bit of attitude and they moved my concern to somebody who actually read my message and understood English....they assured me the reviews mentioning unrestrained power were just a fluke and the issue had been addressed. Well, my bike arrived and it has the same issue! I have another bike made with the same parts but under the name Vipspeed. It has a power assist system that actually works properly, the PAS-1 gives you just a modest little boost but you have to do about 70% of the work and it even cuts-out after 5mph so it's a true Eco-mode with just 10-15% assist....but this bike, it gives you 100% power and blast you up to 20mph+ if you even move the peddles in the least. DEFECTIVE & DANGEROUS!

Well-built and battery last longer than you can ride the bike (my seat gets tired). Only negative is there no operating instructions on how to efficiently utilize the bike, had to ride it for many miles to figure out best power settings and speed to maximize the battery. Recommend buy for sure!
