My daughter just learned to ride a bike this summer and I was looking at e-bikes since my regular bike has seen better days and is 20+ years old. This bike appeared to have everything I wanted. Pedal assist, a basket, thick tires, a battery and it even folds, so I watched the price (and others like it go up and down) and right before Prime Day it his a new low so I pulled the trigger. So glad I did. It was fairly easy to assemble, between the instructions and the video on the Amazon page. I;m not a bike person so I was a little worried, but it only took about 20 minutes. rides smooth, makes a cool noise as you go. You can use it as a regular bike, a pedl assist bike, or just let the motor do all the work for you. goes about 22 - Miles an hour on paved streets in our neighborhood. The basket is big enough for me to put my beach stff in it which is one reason I wanted this bike that could also go off read. It folds so I can get it into my Honda CRV. It is heavy, like 100X what my wife's Schwin regular bike weights, but for the price this is a great bike. The set is adjustable. the handrais are adjustable. Nothing really to complain about so far. and pehaps most important of all... it actually LOOKS liek a bike. My kids didn;t believe me when I said it folds, until I showed them. It has a headlight, silly sounding horn, and a little screen that you use to turn it on/off, select the speed see how fast you are going (my kids favrite as they try to keep up and tell me to go a certain speed and see if they can catch me), ow far you've gone etc. Not sure the longevity of it as I;ve only had it a week or so, but so far nothig but starts for this bike.

Ran the ebike today for the first time. Traveled for about 14 miles without breaking a sweat using modes 3 and 4 only. Still have 2 bars left on battery after the run. I had no issues or problems with the bike during this first run. So far so good.

Pretty good bike! Im 4'7 and the instructions say 5'3 but I found with some good 1-2 inch platform boots, I can ride pretty well (feet touch the ground). Its not too big for me. Its somewhat hard to put together; I would look at the video AND manual. The plastic underneath the seat (meant for the seat) came cracked but I didn't need it since I needed the lowest seat height. The acceleration is crazy but I've only used it once since I cant handle all the speed on backroads. The battery has lasted pretty long since I got it and I haven't charged it. Would recommend to a friend

I rented an e-bike while on vacation with my wife and we decided to get our own bikes so we could take them around with us. Although we have an SUV I was hoping to find something that fit in a car trunk. This one does, but would not fit two of them. I wanted something with larger wheels and this seemed like the choice that was also budget friendly. Things to know are that this is a short wheelbase, which makes it more compact. At first I didn't have enough height on the seat adjustment, but I found a longer seat-post on Amazon for around $7, so no big deal. I have only done short 30-minute rides around the neighborhood and the battery goes perhaps 5 days. I haven't let it go completely down because I don't want to deal with pushing a 60lb bike up hill! We live on a hill and with the battery I can share the effort with the motor going up hill but without loosing breath. I wouldn't want to let the battery do the work alone and besides, I want to get a little exercise too. The bike will do 20mph on power level 5, but I find that most of the time I ride around on level 1 (8mph), then go to level 2 (10mph) or 3 (12mph) when I want to go a little faster. The cable operated disk brakes stop the bike just fine, although they squeak a little. The sound has reduced somewhat now - perhaps as they are wearing in. I had thought about getting a more powerful bike, but since laws prohibit such bikes on certain paths I wanted to stay with a class 2 bike (limited to 20mph). I like that it has the throttle. That helps to get started on a hill in 4th gear so you can get moving without too much pedal effort to get your balance quickly. Still getting used to this and trying to make a habit of riding every day. Looking forward to taking it on some bike trails when we get another bike for my wife.

Works great! My 18-year old son takes it to work everyday. We did have a battery issue but customer support quickly sent us a replacement and now it works just as it should. He usually pedals like a regular bike but sometimes he uses the e-battery when he’s going uphill. He put it together himself with no issues although he said it is a bit heavy to carry, when folded.

Hello, I've had the bike for a few weeks now and have ridden it for over 100 miles and at first it was great. It would get me to and from work roughly 16 miles round trip, but the battery life would only last that long and that is maybe an hour of riding time with a mix of peddling and throttle. I use it mostly down hill going to work and it gets down to half half battery by time I get to work. I don't think it holds a charge very well for the money being spent on it. After the second week, I noticed the bike is making sounds and creaking a lot as I paddle. At first I didn't notice, because I have my headphones on while I ride. The 20 miles an hour speed limit is great, but drops to 18 or so when the battery gets to 4 bars and drops to 10 or less when it's at one bar. You can tell when the battery is dead, because the bike is so much harder to paddle. I wish I could use the bike without the basket, but it's the only way the battery can be used. It would have been battery if they just shipped or gave an option for just a cradle for the battery. The folding was the major selling point for me and that works well, but comes with it's own issues. The bike is not worth the $480 price tag, but I am getting my monies worth as long as the battery last.
