The white ones are erasable with nail polish remover. If a plant dies over winter, I can reuse the label for another plant in spring. But the black are really hard to erase with nail polish remover.

My daughter and I have been getting in to rock paining and all different kinds of tools to use for that so I saw these acrylic pens and was excited to try them and see how they work for our rock painting craft. Each of them came individually wrapped in plastic I assume to keep them from drying out. It was easy to open and once they are open all you have to do is take a piece of paper or something and lightly press the tip down a few times. With each press of the tip you can clearly see the ink filling in the white tip and once it is completely covered you are ready to go! I was very impressed at how easy the paint came out and how smooth my lines were. It is almost exactly like using a pen but with paint instead of ink! With some more detailed works I could easily use this for outlining and such. I would definitely not want to use these to paint or fill large areas though, but for designs and details it works AMAZING! I could tell it was a tad harder on stones that are not super smooth and I was being very careful because I did not want to mess the tip up on the roughness on the stone. I worry a bit about them drying out when not in use, and I probably would not leave them too long not in use or they may dry out. Very important to keep the cap on when not using. Easy for my 7 year old to use as well which I love!

These are pens that carry acrylic paint. They are something one uses to do detail work on an acrylic or watercolor painting. The paint is very opaque and dries permanently. Before using it on your painting, test it off to the side on a disposable surface, as it sometimes offers a large blob of paint initially. If you need a permanent marker, in most cases, a Sharpie or similar permanent marker is better. I wouldn't recommend these for children as they dry permanently on clothes, furniture, etc. The white acrylic pen provides a more opaque white than a gel pen.

I needed some fine tip acrylic pens for outlining and detail work, and I thought the price was good, so I tried these. They don't work well at all! They take a lot of shaking and tip pressing to start the flow, and the paint eventually comes out at first in a blob, so don't do this over your work! After that, they work OK, but everytime I set the pen down for a couple of minutes, I had to repeat the shaking and tip pressing with the blob of paint coming out to get it working again. And the next time I used the pens, about a week later, they wouldn't work at all, so I'm not sure if the paint was all gone, or had dried up inside the pens! Since I got 6 pens, I was able to open two more, but it was the same thing all over again with these. Would not buy again!

I've gone through a lot of different sets of paint pens of various colors and sizes and I needed some fine detail black and white's for a couple projects I was working on. The paint came out as you'd expect/hope without it pouring out or drying up. The colors were bold and the lines came out thin which is what I was hoping for. I would purchase these again.
