These are amazing...these brilliant colors...such fun! They take a little longer to dry than regular paint pens, but the UV-reactivity clearly changes the paint composition. For the best UV reaction, make it good and thick! I did 2 quite heavy coats, especially the first, which needed extra-long drying time. The second coat is what made the coverage appear uniform. They aren't as easy and care-free as plain-ol' paint, but the glow is phenomenal! Somehow, my brand-new package was missing a yellow one, but I called Amazon, and they made things right immediately.     • A bit misleading in the claims

I love that ALL of the colors are black light reactive. However! The package and details on the listing claim that They are both uh glow, and glow in the dark, they are NOT glow in the dark. Not a bit! So I’m pretty disappointed with this, as that was a major selling point and it was a lie. They also didn’t contain much ink compared to other paint markers I’ve purchased that are the same size. The ink also took a long time to dry, and even after drying the ink remained tacky and sticky to the touch. The colors they come in are great tho, and I was very happy that all the colors glow in black light. The blue could be a bit brighter in my opinion, and the purple is more of a dark fuchsia. I only say that because I had high hopes for these markers, finding a TRUE purple that’s also black light reactive is a very difficult task, same with finding a good blue that’s reactive is almost as difficult. Being an artist that only works with neon/glow in the dark/black light uv reactive paints and inks and dyes, the results are very important to me. I likely won’t be buying these again. ... show more

Cons 1.Markers came with lose tops / markers came in box that had been polywrapped but the markers inside were NOT individually wrapped 2.the fine tips need be used on super smooth surfaces or the hard nibs ewill catch on every dimple or brushstroke that results in flicking/splattering paint on your work 3. Yea you get two pens per color one med tip one fine but each marker is only half full so my projects required me to open up the fine tip pens and put there ink into the med tip marker of the same color. 4. Gloss I hate gloss finishes for florecent or neon Colors Pros. 1. Damn good pens if u need uv reactive paint pens .now this said I also have a drawer full of poscas that blow these away in every category but price and collection of colors on these are a win win 2. Colors are vibrant/ require a light primer coat and then recoat to achieve desired darkness 3.the med tip pens lay paint really well. Not as well as posca but none the less 4. The blue if u buy this set for the blue alone you'd be happy.. best damn blue marker I have and I have bout 7 brands 5. The actual paint pens seem to be holding up well none broken or super worn nibs after running quite a few of them dry 6. If you wanna get the most from your money you thin down or buy highflow paints to refill the marker body's there easy to disassemble and even easier to Clean/clear marker body's that helps me see what I have in each recycled pen from this set ... show more

We were decorating a glow float and had tried just about everything first. Glow in the dark paint, glow spray paint, pigment powder...nothing gave us the bright look we wanted. These paint pens ended up being what finally worked. The colors are incredibly bright, especially under black lights, and they showed up so much better than anything else we tried. The dual tips made them really versatile because we used the fine tip for outlines and smaller details and the medium tip to fill in larger areas. They were comfortable to hold, wrote smoothly without skipping, and the paint dried quickly so we weren't constantly smearing our work. If you're looking for bright neon colors for posters, crafts, or anything under UV lights, these are absolutely worth it. Out of everything we bought for our float, these were by far the MVP. ... show more

This is not my first purchase of this product, so obviously I like them very much. I really would be happy if this company would make a package of double the thin extra fine ones. I paint on smaller areas and would love that I didn't waste so many of the larger ones.

Not impressed...actually very disappointed. First 2 makers in the 14 were already dried out and did not function. Second these are supposed to be acrylic paint markers but I think not. The paint smears and reconstituted after having been dry for more than 10 days. Acrylic paint does not do this. Third, it was incredibly difficult to get them to actually transfer to most surfaces....in fact even when used over acrylic painted areas, these markers left only minimal residue on the surface which was hardly visible and 6 of the 14 don't even glow under blacklight abd/or UV light sources. I will not purchase these again and seriously doubt I am likely to purchase anything from this grand again ... show more

The colors are great and I guess they kinda glow I really haven't let them be out in the sun all day to see if they absorb light to glow at night. They are neon so very bright in the daylight I bought these hoping they would be easier to paint on some glass items I had outside and of course eventually rocks. NOPE! I've only used one pen so far, first the tip broke off when I pushed down. Second, I rescrewed the tip back on, then it was the battle of too much, too little or the tip falling off again. I think I had more paint on my fingers than on my project. If it wasn't for the vibrant colors I would have given this one star. Hopefully it's just one messed up pen I doubt it though. Next time back to the old fashioned brushes and bottles. You definitely can't write without the tip breaking ... show more
