This is a fantastic set. Perfect for first time painters hoping to add color to the side of a book case or create some kindness rocks for the garden, or for people just looking to occupy yourself or your kids with something creative for a while. No labor (other than the initial unwrapping of each pen), fast clean up, they don't stink, bright colors. But don't get it on your clothes unless your goal is a permanent wardrobe change. The big tips and small tips work well (a couple small ones might get... overexcited? and leak a little so dab them on a paper towel or something from time to time). DO shake them before use, DO cap them unless you're literally using them right that second, or the bigger ones will dry out. but the paints all cover each other well, so if you use silver over black for example, it hides the black completely. There is no dark blue. Honestly this set could use 2 more shades of blue to complete it, then it would be perfect. but literally that's my only issue. So if you're a beginner just hunting for a way to practice for now, or looking for something for your kids to do, or painting kindness rocks while camping or on a road trip even, this is your set. ... show more

Cons 1.Markers came with lose tops / markers came in box that had been polywrapped but the markers inside were NOT individually wrapped 2.the fine tips need be used on super smooth surfaces or the hard nibs ewill catch on every dimple or brushstroke that results in flicking/splattering paint on your work 3. Yea you get two pens per color one med tip one fine but each marker is only half full so my projects required me to open up the fine tip pens and put there ink into the med tip marker of the same color. 4. Gloss I hate gloss finishes for florecent or neon Colors Pros. 1. Damn good pens if u need uv reactive paint pens .now this said I also have a drawer full of poscas that blow these away in every category but price and collection of colors on these are a win win 2. Colors are vibrant/ require a light primer coat and then recoat to achieve desired darkness 3.the med tip pens lay paint really well. Not as well as posca but none the less 4. The blue if u buy this set for the blue alone you'd be happy.. best damn blue marker I have and I have bout 7 brands 5. The actual paint pens seem to be holding up well none broken or super worn nibs after running quite a few of them dry 6. If you wanna get the most from your money you thin down or buy highflow paints to refill the marker body's there easy to disassemble and even easier to Clean/clear marker body's that helps me see what I have in each recycled pen from this set ... show more

This pen set is what I've been looking for for a long time. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes the ink comes out watery. This is probably operator error on my part as I didn't read the directions, but I've use them to build two guitar amplifiers. If they hadn't worked well, I'd have wasted $1,500 on one or $3,000 if I'd screwed them both up. I didn't and there's some neon writing all over the inside of those amps. I love these pens. We were decorating a glow float and had tried just about everything first. Glow in the dark paint, glow spray paint, pigment powder...nothing gave us the bright look we wanted. These paint pens ended up being what finally worked. The colors are incredibly bright, especially under black lights, and they showed up so much better than anything else we tried. The dual tips made them really versatile because we used the fine tip for outlines and smaller details and the medium tip to fill in larger areas. They were comfortable to hold, wrote smoothly without skipping, and the paint dried quickly so we weren't constantly smearing our work. If you're looking for bright neon colors for posters, crafts, or anything under UV lights, these are absolutely worth it. Out of everything we bought for our float, these were by far the MVP. ... show more

please literally wear the best pens I've ever ever ever bought I'm not even playing.
