I love these pens! I bought them for gardening and writing plant labels that last. And they do!! In the past I have used sharpies and that ink eventually disappears in the sun. These paint pens are great! Push down on the tip for a few seconds on the first use when new to get the ink/paint flowing, but after that just write like a felt tip. Flows smoothly and I don’t get blobs in the ink. On the plastic labels, it takes 30 seconds or so for the ink to dry, and it seems to be waterproof and smudgeproof after that! I have some that were stuck into the soil where the writing was and they still show clearly. It is holding up outside, facing the sun, through months of weather. UPDATE: Customer service read my review and reached out to me and offered a full refund. The pens do work for some people, they just didn't for me, so the company made it right. If you are having issues with the pens reach out to them. They are an upstanding company that really reads and responds to our concerns. After one use the tips on both stopped working. The paint would no longer flow out of the tip. First use was great. But after sitting a few days then trying to use again, it did not work. ... show more

these are crap. no flow at all. I rarely used them right from the start because they were useless. When i shake it I know there is paint in the shaft but the tip is so bad it does not work. I thought it might just be one but both of them did noe let paint flow. wish I did not have to choose a star.

Nice paint pens but I ordered white and received black. Luckily I also ordered another brand at the same time so I could finish my project. The label on the box says they are white but they are clearly black.
