  • Great battery, fast, and reliable
Style: 35MPH & 45 Miles
I waited a few months to give this review. This bike has been wonderful. It was a bit of a pain to put together, but honestly, I'd put up with that again for how great it's been since. The battery last quite a while, and the bike is surprisingly fast (definitely wear a helmet). I also love the little basket underneath. Overall this is a solid electric vehicle! ... show more

Style: 35MPH & 45 Miles
Love these scooters I have 2! Super fast and fun. The dual shocks absorb any bumps and it’s just over all great! Perfect size and it looks really cool too. Definitely a head turner

  • I love it but...
Style: 35MPH & 45 Miles
Well, compared to my RoadRunner D4 + 2.0 scooter, I like this one better despite the former being faster in terms of acceleration and speed. I love the fact that this has a seat and foot pegs since I'm super lazy when it comes to riding bikes. I used to be a semi-pro road bike racer, but my left knee busted, causing me to retire. The first time I got this, this came in a box half assembled. It was easy to put together, to be honest. The first time you use the brakes, you may need to keep using it until it actually works. It WILL work. Just be patient. The tires were amazing. They lasted a long time. I still haven't replaced my tires yet since the beginning of this year. The battery is good, but not that amazing. The issue with the battery is it finishes so fast within 14-16 miles or less when you're on mode 4. I wanted to add the extra battery to it, but if that was modded, my warranty would be void. So, I decided against that and keep riding until I'm ready to go all out on my scooter soon as the warranty expires. The acceleration sucks, but that's maybe because I'm nearly 300lbs (i'm 5'10.5"). My wish is that both wheels have power, not just the back wheel. Would love dual performance to make my scooter a bit faster. The odometer is OK. One thing about the odometer is that it's very inaccurate when it tells you how many miles it runs and how fast it goes. The fastest the scooter only goes is 28-30mph, depending on the areas and your weight. I measured the speed using my phone using three different apps and all showed that it's 28-30mph. It does NOT go at 35mph as it advertised. I contacted them about this and they offered me a $30 refund for that flaw. Another issue is the back fender broke off about three weeks ago, causing me to have an accident in the intersection. I was lucky that no car ran over me, but my left knee got banged up so bad. I was even on my way to work. The officers kindly removed the rear fender because it was caught in my rear wheel. iScooter offered to help reimburse this if I get the rear fender welded back into place. Really kind of them, which is why I stuck with them. I plan on buying their iScooter DX5 Pro one of these days, but I'm a bit worried about the police pulling me over because of the speed. The only reason for my not being pulled over as of late is because my scooter isn't as fast as it was supposed to be. Anyway, the brakes handle well. No issues so far. The charging is a bit slow-paced, but that's to be expected. Wish they offered a faster charger somehow. The scooter isn't as heavy. It's easily stored in my apartment up a few steps (emphasis A FEW STEPS, not long flight of stairs... it's a bit heavy, so either have an elevator, be a bodybuilder, or bring it in a home that's on the first floor. Regarding its appearance, well, i've got a lot of people giving me thumbs up for its beauty and size. Maybe the color red is an eye catcher. I used the reflective tapes around my scooter so people could see my scooter. It looks like a rad small e-motorcycle. I was able to pull into some drive thrus without an issue as many thought I was one of those motorcyclists when I'm actually a wimpy rider riding on an awesome e-scooter. Last, but not least, it was worth every penny. Truthfully though.... I'm not sure I plan on getting the Pro anytime soon because this scooter is still running well. I don't plan on selling it unless I'm aiming to get the Pro, but that's probably not until way later. So far, I've put in about 1,800 miles on my scooter and it's still running. It even went up one of the steepest hills in LA (Baldwin Hills), but it was VERY slow. I think I was going at 8mph up that steep hill, but I'm sure with one weighing a lot less than me, It should be going faster. So, in short: pros: 1. good value for the money 2. very good tires despite going over several potholes and some glass 3. speedy enough to get me from point A to point B (short range, though) 4. comfy seat, but I think for me, I'd love to get a bigger seat for my big behind 5. lights are bright! amazing! 6. great blinkers (behind only) 7. excellent customer service (even though they tend to be very, very thorough when it comes to warranties since they want to make sure that we are covered... because if we're not, we're on our own!) 8. excellent brakes! no known issues so far! 9. great storage cage to transport your goods, but I don't recommend using it for transporting your pet, unless your pet is very tiny. my cat is small, but she did not fit under there even with the small bag. I had to buy a backpack to transport her to my vet 10. gosh, suspension is heaven. my ride has been SMOOTH about 90-95% of the time. 11. I rode this in the rain. amazing! careful though, the wheels are smooth, therefore, you may slip. plus it's not recommended to ride out in the rain for at least 30 minutes or so. it took a bit of time for it to dry. but all in all, it runs in the rain just fine! just not when it's pouring where some places could be flooded though! 12. the frame is strong 13. motorcycle type throttle is awesome :-) Made me feel like I am on a motorcycle, that's for sure! ;-) 14. love the two mirrors... maybe would like them a bit bigger, but they're still good. 15. comes with the small storage bag! I always put my smelly clothing in there to ward off bums and other dorks from trying to steal my scooter. of course, no keys or tools should be left in there when going shopping! someone stole my hex key, but luckily, it was cheap. cons: 1. no parking/emergency lights 2. if the tires need to be replaced, especially the rear, you can either give it to the mechanic to replace them for you or spend all day trying to figure out how to unhook the power to the hub of the rear wheel in order to replace the rear tire 3. no front blinkers for upcoming cars to see where you're turning, especially at intersections 4. slow charger 5. the storage cage is good and all, but I wish there was a gate type cage where I can just open right there and then close it... my gallon water jug fell out of the cage when I was on a bumpy ride trying to get the water refilled... and the issue regarding my cat (mentioned in the pros). 6. acceleration is crappy. it's not as fast. maybe dual/turbo mode will change that like it did for my RoadRunner D4 +2.0 scooter. 7. probably due to my weight being near 300lbs, I could feel the suspension hitting its limit. wish there was a way to make the suspension a bit tighter/firmer 8. odometer reading is wrong. it doesn't go as fast as advertised either. it only goes as fast as 28-30mph based on three apps 9. fender broke off the frame that was welded together. the wheel caught the fender, thereby causing me to have an accident. the left food peg bent badly... I requested a new pair to be sent. And they did! (fender is still on back order though... still waiting since the accident) 10. battery doesn't last that long... if it was doubled, i'd put that under "pros" wishful thinking: 1. would love a dual mode to pull my weight and even groceries (and maybe even a small hitch trailer to go shopping!) 2. turbo would be awesome to let me go up hills faster (okay, I lied.. I wanna race cars and motorcycles too :-P Just for a short bit) 3. bigger seat w/ more cushion 4. front blinkers 5. longer battery use 6. open-close cage storage 7. ease of replacing rear tires 8. bigger mirrors, maybe, but rectangular to get a wide view of everything 9. phone holder would have been awesome, especially on the handlebar above the odometer 10. firm suspension for heavy riders (or suspension that we can adjust ourselves to our preferences) ... show more

  • Great little scooter.
Style: 35MPH & 45 Miles
Got this for my autistic son who can't drive a car. So this can be his main transportation, giving him more freedom. Very well made and man is it fast at top speed! I love the screen, controls, break light, turn signals and storage. The only reason for a 4 star versus a 5 is the front break issue. Customer service had me adjust the caliper, but didn't give instructions on how to. I am mechanically inclined, so figured it out. Still had issue with 1 spot rubbing. They then sent me the wrong rotter, but then sent the correct one. Outside of that, it is a great little scooter. ... show more

  • : way no even close!
Style: 35MPH & 45 Miles
I'm editing my review due to great customer service. They have reached out to me and are sending a new scooter, and a u lock. I will do a full review again once I've received the new scooter and everything checks out. Then I will delete all the negative reviews. Right now I give customer service the five-star review but for the bike at the moment 2 Stars. Having great customer service is number one in my book . I'll keep you guys posted . I think I got a lemon,35miles and hour no way! 15miles and hour to conserve battery and 20 mile range on my last test drive. Each time I log miles on a new charge the millage decreases drastically. And I am not damaging the battery I'm familiar with ebikes because I have a $750-watt ebike with a 750 watt battery . That bike gets me 10 miles to the church 10 Mi back and will do that trip twice in a row with pedaluses too at 20 miles an hour . The back wheel comes assembled the motor is on the back wheel. I took the brake caliper off because I thought something was wrong with the break. The wheel barely spins. I believe the problem is with the motor. All the research I've done online said that's a major issue with either the motor or the electrical system. Then the front disc after removing the caliper you can see it wobbles causing a noise as I ride down the road and you can see how it's wobbles the disc brake itself is cricket and not milled right so it's not perfectly circular. Then the last thing if you are buying this bike hoping that you have a built-in security system, think again. The security system would be great if there wasn't a break or switch and Clear Sight to shut off the whole system. I was thinking about trying to hide it in some way but then you can't shut off the bike and the alarm well then keep going up anytime anyone bumps it. And the alarm only goes off for a few seconds then shuts off. Customer service appeared to be helpful at first. Because I didn't want to be charged for shipping to return this bike that's faulty I asked them just send me schematics on it and tell me how I could add a separate battery to go the distance. But now I know it's not the battery alone major problem motor dragging. And front disk being warped is not helping. Without being able to test it with the motor working correctly I don't even know if the battery is any good. I am sure I got a lemon. I've always been a fan of recycling but in this case maybe that's not a good idea. . I bought this bike to do a 20 mi round trip to work at higher speeds, and for the security system for grocery shopping. The process of back and forth communication is not getting me anywhere . Amazon sent the seller a request for a link to send a video of the problems. Since they're not sending it I'm sure they can see it here. I want to warn people thinking of buying this bike. The manufacturer said refer to the manual for instructions on how to send us a photo. They didn't send a manual, not even instructions on how to assemble the bike . Thank goodness I have put together my Geliesen E bike last year, and I'm highly mechanical, worked on my cars . ... show more

Assembly of item was done according to directions in package. Missing tools ( had to go buy tools to assemble). Contacted manufacturer and got no where. They sent the assembly video from you tube which I had told I had already watched and assembled accordingly. Front wheel was locked up and unable to use item. Sent videos of me putting the item back together and still had same results!!!! They want me to return a heavy ass scooter on my own dime!!!! It’s just a huge paperweight in my garage now!!!! Very sturdy scooter really fast great pick up , the only problem was one of the brake handle harnesses was screwed in crooked. I had to drill and tap it out and re-screw it. With different bolts, other than that, no other problems 😎
