Description

Marshall, 11 inch In 1950, Red Wing introduced the 854 boot style. Designed for hunting, it was crafted from a distinctive red russet leather that later went on to inspire the Irish Setter name. Generation after generation, Irish Setter has proven itself in the field and on the jobsite. Today, over 100 years of Red Wing work boot experiences combined with more than 60 years of Irish Setter outdoor footwear experiences have surged it into becoming the leading brand for hunters and workers alike. Whether you are a hunter, fisherman or are looking for your next work boot, Irish Setter understands that it's the little details that make the difference between good footwear and great footwear. The brand prides itself on creating boots that are as hardworking as you are. They do not take shortcuts in craftsmanship; instead, taking delicate thought and consideration into the building of each product. Using full-grain leathers and leading technologies, such as GORE-TEX waterproofing, Thinsulate Ultra insulation, Ultradry waterproofing, Cushin Comfort Tongue, and Vibram in their outsoles, Irish Setter sets out to build the finest outdoor and work footwear.

  • Great value
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Dark Brown/Black
Crazy comfortable. Little loose when you first start wearing them, but they break in and fit better. The quality meets and exceeds the redwing promise and the color of this boot is so nice that it can be a dress boot too. Not crazy heavy with the composite toe, but definitely not light.

  • Quality product
Size: 15 Color: Brown
Only comfortable and stylish boots for my 24 year old son who is a solid 6’5” with size 14 wide. We size up to 15 since these are a bit too narrow for his wide feet for comfort since he spends 8+ hour either rigging, maritime mechanic work on navy ships, as a crane operator or welding. He’s kind of a jack-of-all trades kinda kid, with his license and certs, so he doesn’t fall into the master-of-none category as that saying goes. These boots are steel toed and the sole is solid but are low pro so not super thick, heavy and chunky like most boots. A bit costly, but holds up great, very good quality. Only reason he’s eventually replaced it is because the inside gets crazy smelly after working in the rain multiple times. Repeat purchaser. ... show more

  • I’d give them 10 stars if I could
Size: 12 Color: Black
This is my 4th pair of work boots in a little over a year. I started with Justin’s, then some cheap brand, then twisted x, now Irish setters. The Irish setters have been hands down the best pair of work boots I’ve ever had. I spend all day ankle deep in water, mud, dirt and concrete and one month in, they still haven’t cracked, torn at the bottom or sprung a leak. I bought them a little bigger than I needed due to an old foot injury, yet they haven’t torn at the extra creases made in the boot from being too big like the twisted x boots did. They were easy to break in (especially working 12-14 hours a day) and loom great despite getting concrete all over them constantly. They’re easy to wash off too after delivering a load. Irish setters definitely have a customer for life. ... show more

  • Solid boots overall.
Excellent work boot! Working in the refinery industry involves a lot of walking climbing and even standing. So far everything has been good to go with these boots. Great investment for my feet.

  • Good boot, but fabric lining
Size: 12 Color: Brown
Had the boots for about a week. I had to order three different sizes to get the right one. I like everything about the outside. Leather is soft, sole is comfortable and has good grip. The lining on the inside is a mesh and loose so when putting on the boot it wrinkles in the heel. Not sure how long it will last. ... show more

  • Durable work boot
Size: 10 Color: Brown
Purchased this gift for my son. It’s his favorite work boot brand. Steel toe, comfort and style.

  • Great boot for the money
Size: 10.5 Color: Brown
This is my 4th pair of these boots. The first pair almost broke-in my feet trying to get them comfortable. They were the light tan leather and I didn't want to darken them with oils.......EVENTUALLY they broke in and I ended up wearing out the heal part of the liner. Recommendation- buy a boot spoon to put them on. I still have them and they feel like slippers, so it eventually worked. 2 other pairs later in the WRONG size froma redwing store and I went back to the OG. This pair I stretched with hand dumbbells in the metatarsal area for a few days (wedged them in). Then I read other reviews about mink oil......Game changer. I fired up the woodstove, set them in front where they would get nice and toasty. Then I slathered them with a liquid mink oil/neatsfoot oil blend for a total of 3 applications as the leather drank it up. Commence break-in day at work........Bring old reliable as a backup. Some stiffness, a smidgen of regret, but powered through. Next day, looked at my old buddy slippers......and put on the new ones. Repeated for the work week and wasn't disappointed. They broke in SO much faster after the initial stretch and oil routine (just like my onlyfans account LOL) . They are now daily drivers and love them. Also, BTW I wear 10.5D. Redwing measured and said 10D, so I went with it on the 2nd pair. (1st pair was 10.5D) Don't trust a shoe salesperson if they haven't been in the biz for at least 5 - 10 years. Newbie cost me $500 in boots that "work" if I don't mind my toes being in a vice in certain positions. Absolutely love these boots. I work in power generation and walk/climb/kneel every......single....day. If you like slip-ons, these are really good. Leather is almost indestructible and the bottoms really wear like Michelins ... show more

  • Good boots
Size: 9.5 Color: Brown
They fit good for someone with narrower feet don't even need insoles. They are comfortable and run circles around cheaper boots and the quality is better than competitors like Ariat. I buy these boots every year for my metall fab job and they hold up great. If I didn't have to be so rough on them and used them like normal shoes they would probably last a lifetime. ... show more
