I got these boots from Amazon as they were much cheaper than buying from the store. I have worn this style boot for a while now and really like them. I have worn a few different brands in this style as well. They are especially good if you are on a ladder a lot while at work. They help support your arch on the ladder rungs. They run very true to size and have plenty of room in the toe box for a safety toe boot. The only problem may be the toe leather cam wear out quickly if you work on your knees a lot (changing out receptacles as an electrician). I can not predict how soon this will happen but it will as it happened to my red wing boots. This can be solved by applying tough toe over the toe as a cap. This however does not look the best on a pair of boots in my opinion. Overall, these are a very comfortable work boot. I walk between 3 and 6 miles a day on average and my feet never hurt at the end of the day. Never skimp out on a good pair of boots. Your feet carry your body around and make a world of difference if they are in good boots

Best boots bar none. I wear them daily for at least 8 hours per day. I work in a plastics factory on concrete floors. Climbing and walking on slippery surfaces. I've now had them for over 2 years. They just get better over time.

I've been wearing these for several months now I love them like all the Irish setter boots I've bought they're comfortable out the box the size is correct they've held up well so far and don't kill my feet walking on concrete and steel for 12 hours.

These boots are great! The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because they do feel like Frankenstein shoes and are a tiny bit heavy. They get the job done though and are comfortable regardless. The break-in period is nonexistent. Boots fit to size for skinny feet.

Third pair after they arrived last night i ordered another pair to keep clean for when I go out. Like wearing slippers at work I'd rather wear these then the 5 pairs if 160+ dollar sneakers i own. This is my fourth pair of Irish Setter Wingshooter STs, and I’ll be honest — I have a love-hate relationship with them. The Positives: Unmatched Comfort – These are easily the most comfortable work boots I’ve ever worn. Break-in time is basically nonexistent. From day one, they feel broken-in and supportive, which is a huge plus when you're on your feet all day. Reliable Waterproofing – I've worn these in heavy rain and wet conditions, and they’ve consistently kept my feet dry. The waterproofing has always held up well. Strong Composite Toe – The toe cap has saved me more than once. It’s held up to impacts that definitely would’ve crushed my foot otherwise. The Negatives: Unfortunately, comfort doesn’t equal longevity. I’m an electrician and custom AV contractor, working on concrete and constantly moving, kneeling, and climbing — and these boots just don’t hold up under those conditions. My 1st and 2nd pair lasted around a year with careful maintenance. 3rd pair didn’t even make it 8 months before they were completely shot. My 4th pair (purchased Nov 7, 2024) still has a decent sole, but the toe area blew out a month ago — less than 6 months of use. For a boot that’s marketed as a work boot and comes with a premium price tag, I expect better durability. They feel great, no doubt — that’s the only reason I’ve kept coming back — but I can’t keep justifying the cost for something that doesn’t even last a full year. Bottom Line: If comfort is your top priority and you're not especially hard on your boots, these might be a solid choice. But for anyone working in tough environments day in and day out — especially on concrete or frequently on your knees — they wear out way too fast for the price.
