As a service writer at a dealership you walk on concrete a lot.I purchased these and another writer asked me how much they were and I told him. He said well I bought these shoes for only $25 from Walmart. I told him you'll go through five pair before I go through this one pair. These boots shocked me on how comfortable and durable they were. B Near the end of there life, I wore them outside doing hard labor around concrete, meaning I busted concrete with a sledgehammer, they lasted 3 years of that abuse. Was doing home upgrades on my 1st home. The leather finally was cracked and dried enough to where they started showing rips in the creases were bends every time you walked toward the front of boot so then I lost the waterproofing of them. But I would stand by these boots any day if they're still made with the same quality they made them when I purchased them from a Red Wing store in my town about 10 plus years ago. The soles on them never wore uneven or had any cracking from the different surfaces that I was on. Amazing quality. I recently put them down for good I really wish I would have taken a picture of him cuz they were well used and abused but they probably had 10,000 miles walked in them. And you want them to fit snug because years of use the leather will stretch. Same way with Red Wing boots. Buy them if they your style. You will be happy your did in 5 or 6 years. ... show more
