The dogs eat food with salmon in it, and it smells like there is salmon in it. The sack of dog food fits right in this nice container and closes airtight to keep it fresh and keep the salmon smell contained. The container came with casters, and it took all of ten seconds to put them on the bottom so I can wheel the big heavy sack around instead of lugging it. Design, size, seal, wheels all great. I keep bird seed on my deck and it did not take long before the squirrels discovered the containers and chewed their way in to the seed. So not good for outdoor feed storage.

I got this to store my dog’s food outside on the porch and didn’t want mice or other animals going after it. It stored a 40lb bag of dog food with room to spare. It’s a sturdy container. It is definitely air tight. I do not see bugs crawling/flying anywhere near it and no mouse droppings around it so they’re not detecting there is food in it. It’s also kept the dog’s food fresh. It was super easy to put the wheels on and it rolls around very nicely. I will recommend you wash it out (just with water) with a hose outside to get the plastic smell out of the container and let the sun dry it out completely before putting your dog’s food in it. ... show more

Works pretty good! Glad I found this on sale, never expected to have such a hard time finding a decently priced bucket for dog food. Some are ridiculously expensive! Works pretty good, I put the wheels on, it slides really well when you need it. Could race it across the house lol. Make sure you clamp the lid. Or else a nosy greedy puppy will find his way in it, and eat a crater out of your food bucket! Not terribly thick plastic, but does it's job. Fits an entire 28 pound bag of food no problem. Overall, recommend it instead of having a dumb half open bag of food sitting on your floor. Just looks nicer, keeps the food fresher, and easy to scoot it out of the way if you need to. Small enough to not take up much space. Like it! ... show more
