I have 5 dogs and tend to try to keep two 30 pound bags of dog food on hand to make sure I don't run out. I've had the hardest time finding a container that'll hold most if not all of that, but here we are. This container not only holds nearly 60 pounds of dog food, it also keeps it super airtight. It probably depends on the size of the kibble. I buy Gentle Giants for comparison purposes. They're fairly small bone-shaped pieces. I was previously using two containers that each held about 25 pounds and it took up too much space while still leaving me with a partial bag sitting on my freezer. With the WeatherPro Airtight Container, my dogs are getting fresh and safe good and I couldn't be happier. It's also a nice color and works well with my kitchen design. Like a lot of others, I bought this for dog food. I like that it has more of a seal to keep it a little fresher and the wheels are great for taking it out of the closet, filling it, and rolling it back in again. I've never had any issues with the wheels popping out but then I don't do anything heavy duty with it. I loved it so much I got a medium, thinking it would be great to roll around the garbage when I'm cooking, peeling veggies, needing it out of my way, etc. The medium wasn't big enough so I switched with the big one, using 30gal garbage bags. Now I've got 3 big ones (garbage & recycling & dog food) and a medium for the cat food. Absolute best features and size for the money! ... show more

I bought this to use for rice. All of the containers designated for rice were either way more expensive or didn’t fit the look I wanted. This was a good price and I’m really happy with it. I only used about 2 lbs out of the bag before pouring the bag into this container, so there’s about 13 lbs of rice in there right now and I could probably fit another 30 easily. So if you buy the 22 lb/28 qt size and you’re using it for the same purpose as me, it’ll hold roughly 45 lbs of rice. I’d definitely recommend this. ... show more

I got this bin to store my dog's 35 lb bag of Purina Pro Plan. I decided to switch from pouring kibble into a storage container to keeping the kibble in a bag- the 55lb container has enough space for the bag and then some. I chose not to attach the wheels so I cannot say anything about them. However, the piece to latch the lid of the container shut arrived broken. I got it to work well enough for me since I keep the kibble in its bag with a clip to help keep it sealed, but definitely going to be annoying to deal with. ... show more

Bought 2 of these. I just bought a duel trash cabinet from Amazon and instead of using the cabinet for trash bins I wanted to use it for pet food. Could not find anything , anywhere that would work and when I did find something for the size I needed it cost a arm and a leg, Well I should have known better and just go to Amazon. Found these !! I purchased this bin in 2 sizes and they work great for our dog food storage! The only downside is that the wheels aren't attached, so if you were to pick up this bin, the wheels fall off.
